Apakah sudah diluncurkan, bukankah tahun 2022 diluncurkan?

It’s ultra underwhelming. Especially with the crappy punch hole selfie cam.

As long as the battery is better than the 21ultra I might get it. But the styles might have caused the battery to be smaller

I’d rather have the extra 500 mAh battery than a pen housing.

      November 17, 2021 at 3:59 pm

@Gao if this image is true, they are dropping the periscope camera. Because periscope camera has a square sensor. Moreover they have a moving part thus need a raised platform

You’d think there was one S22. There are going to be three 🤔

There have been 3 for awhile now in Samsung’s lineup. Where have you been?

Samsung should be working on software optimization and battery life. Samsung is like Apple, but in this case the physical appearance changes while the internal stays the same.

Samsung is nothing like Apple interms of hardware software optimizations

    • Ondra Wilson

      November 18, 2021 at 1:15 am

@SSaini yes that’s I said, Samsung doesn’t update their internal hardware like Apple doesn’t update their physical appearance

The s20u was like the alpha version
The s21u like the beta version

The s22u is now the perfect version.
It’s got every Samsung feature that Samsung has to offer tuned to the max.

The next Samsung to really step things up to the point the user can perceive the improvement would need a solid state battery, 4k 240hz Screen, 8k 60 recording & 4k 240fps, Ray traced gaming at 120fps and pack a perfect under display Camera. Those specs are probably 4-5 years away though so id say BUY THE S22 ULTRA EVERYONE.

  21. Boris K

    November 17, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I’m sure it will be an terrible phone like all Samsung phones from last years.
Sure they have the best camera, but also use the worst Bluetooth codec which nobody talks about.
Samsung forces users to use their chappy SBC codec and don’t let you allow to choose the Aptx codec which is listed in the developer bluetooth mode.

It’s really an missed opportunity and a turn off for an hifi enthousiast.

    • Daily Gamer

      November 17, 2021 at 11:12 pm

The S20, S21, Note 10, Note 20 do support Aptx codec but not Aptxhd make sure your software is up-to-date and go back to trigger Bluetooth codec and you will see SBC ,AAC, Aptx, and LDAC.

    • Boris K

      November 18, 2021 at 2:35 am

@Daily Gamer It does show the codecs but does not allow you to select it. If you select it it goes straight back into SBC codec ,Samsung is forcing users to use their SBC codec there is many written about this issue on the internet.

I’m debating between the plus and ultra. I’ll just have to wait and see when they officially drop

  23. StarMan 1337

    November 17, 2021 at 10:35 pm

The Exynos processor will still be in the S22 series in certain regions, just less than previous Samsung devices. This has already been confirmed by the way.

  24. TexasVet72

    November 18, 2021 at 1:31 am

I feel like the Ultra version will simply be a new Note device but dropping the Note name. The plus series will take the place of the old “Ultra” and the regular s22 will be just that…the regular s22

  25. James Herrera CCTX

    November 18, 2021 at 1:42 am

    Camera look like iPhone

  26. Verse

    November 18, 2021 at 1:51 am

If the S22 Ultra looks like a squared brick, I’m not buying it and I’ll instantly switch to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

  27. Rich V

    November 18, 2021 at 5:26 am

Samsung is bait and switching the Note to make the S series more popular even though the Note is the Flagship and the S is the inferior model. Not buying this at all.

  28. Kay Hud

    November 18, 2021 at 9:54 am

I really think the s22 plus is going to be like the 21 ultra rounded corners, but lacking the spen support, and camera features or MP’s. Might even have the same battery but more storage and the newer design. But if Samsung doesn’t include a new feature that the previous models don’t have I’d bet my money on a lot of people who don’t go with the 22 ultra would be better off going with the older 21 ultra. Remember how they dumbed down the regular note 20 the previous note 10 plus was still a better buy than that device.

  29. Lord Rimuru

    November 18, 2021 at 1:22 pm

Why call it S22 Ultra if its basically a Note. Just call it Note S22 Ultra. I’m not a Note user so I guess I’ll be getting the S22+ or S21 Ultra.

  30. Sean

    November 18, 2021 at 2:01 pm

Let’s stop calling in a Galaxy when it’s really a Note. Not a big fan of the Note. I’ll guess I’ll wait for the Galaxy 23/note

  31. No Hate

    That camera is ugly

  32. Jon Cella

    November 18, 2021 at 4:03 pm

What about the camera? Any changes or improvements equal to iPhone 13?

    • Zach J

      November 18, 2021 at 8:42 pm

At this point I’m more interested in their software processing the images than the camera specs themselves

  33. Jon Cella

    November 18, 2021 at 4:08 pm

So I guess Otto will have to retool to make a new case for s22 with squared corners

  34. Anurag Chhallani

    November 18, 2021 at 4:50 pm

I prefer rounded corners of s series sad to see the boxy design😑😑

Hope that exynos will not happen…. all devices I had before were exynos variants (s3, s6, s8, s20) . Between the S6 and S8 I experimented with a Sony XZ Premium, that had the SD835 , it felt blazing fast in comparison to the S6, and even way faster than the S8
