In my opinion s20 is for those who like social media. Note is for those who are productive and game

I prefer rog phone for gaming. Both can do social media and note can do better.

What’s the point? The batteries are completely inaccessible. In 2 years these phones will have garbage battery life.

Samsung says most people will retain 95% capacity after 2 years and guarantees a minimum of 80%

My note 9 is 2 years old phone and I still get 7hr+ SOT everyday!

Yeah…no. After the Note 7 debacle, Samsung has _the_ best quality batteries on any phone.

I have the S20 Ultra. The main camera has horrible focus issues, both in photo and video especially in low light.

Zooming 5x optically and zooming up to 10-30x with great to usable quality is actually impressive……

As a pro photographer, I often have people balk at the idea of paying for a phone shot, until they see the file size and sharpness of my 108mp shots.

Next Samsung Note phone after note 20 ultra will be a lot better, ill just wait until next year 👍🤗👋

      September 4, 2020 at 4:31 pm

There’s rumours that might be an S21ultraS30Ultra with an S Pen and then at the event in August were notes normally get unveiled their would just be folding phones
But those are just rumors. But I would kind of like that cos then we get a note in February instead of having to wait till next year in August.

Debating trading my s20 ultra in for the ultra note

    • Dylan Power

      September 4, 2020 at 2:56 pm

      Don’t. Keep ur s20 ultra

    • Kingsley

      September 4, 2020 at 6:11 pm

I did too. Don’t let the hype for a marginally better camera make you spend to trade. You may notice a slight difference in camera, but will notice with battery.

Not the same screen! You are a reviewer! Note has 19:9 aspect ratio and S has 20:9 aspect ratio. They might have the same diagonal but the area of the screen is different.

    • Jim Russell Friesen

      September 4, 2020 at 4:28 pm

No the note 20 ultra actually has a 20 by 9 aspect ratio just like the s20 ultra.

ONE question. Did you update the S20ultra to one ui 2.5 before the Test?

    • Brian Withers

      September 5, 2020 at 2:05 am

I had the same question. The night mode differences should be purely software.

Thx for this video i was looking for vid about those 2 phones

  18. Kingsley

    September 4, 2020 at 6:21 pm

It’s a choice of marginally better rear facing camera and s pen vs marginally better battery and front facing camera. The $100 difference is “beginning of the year” anticipation, battery, and gimmicky zoom.

Do you prefer to shoot 4k/30 or 4k/60 why would you choose 30 frames at all?

    September 4, 2020 at 7:21 pm

samsung cameras are loosing their edge . They randomly shoot soft / not sharp Pix or screw up brightness for no reason apparent. I am now being compelled to buy a fuji or a Sony pocket / mirror less for my photo / video needs. Will examine hero go pro as well.

Having experianced and used both s20 ultra and note 20 ultra, the note 20 ultra a huge improvement in camera department when it comes to essentially eliminating the focus issues that infuriated me on s20u as well making the telephoto more usable. Selfies camera is a bit of downgrade on note 20 ultra, i looked paler in photos for some reason with all beauty settings off

In my opinion the Note 20 Ultra is the clear winner. Samsung really screwed the S20 Ultra up and really needs to slow down when designing a smartphone. This Phone should have no issues. Shame on you Samsung. Great video 👍 stay safe brother.
