Nest doorbells are way nicer and feels more premium…..that’s coming from a delivery person who presses those doorbells on a daily….the ring ones 1/2 the time are either out of battery or doesn’t work. Of it does work the audio quality when talking to someone through them is horrible

    • Jon Yz

      September 24, 2020 at 12:40 am

i have to agree on the audio. regretted my purchase. i have occasional problems with nest smoke detector though

I use eufy personally. It’s really good for the price since you don’t have to pay for a subscription to save your videos or stream your video. I got one a little bit ago and it’s been great.

I found the video doorbell 2 to be a waste of money. In the 4-5 months that I have had it it hasnt picked up on any package deliveries, the packages are dropped off about 2 feet away. I’ve had about a dozen deliveries. The response time is very poor. Usually you see the back of the person as they’re walking away. And it’s yet to distinguish between a person or animal correctly. I have another system already and deciding what to do with this. I could mount it on the dog house to try to make it look like it has character. But that would take time.

in our country you can’t leave expensive stuff outside, like that doorbell or it will just get stolen minutes after you installed it
