@KFX I don’t want 2 apps for every single thing. And I don’t want a Samsung account either but they force you to create one. I only need a Google account. It’s so nice to have a clean OS again.

Pixel A series phones are always good value. Battery and Charging Speeds need to be fixed on Pixel phones next.

In India the 7a costs Rs. 43999 at launch and the 7 is Rs. 44500 on Amazon which is a difference of $6.

    • Ak

      May 11, 2023 at 10:24 pm

Seller on Amazon India is an unauthorised seller, selling imported Japanese variant which will not be serviced by Google India. The only authorised seller being Flipkart. So while technically you can buy from Amazon India for cheaper, the real price on Flipkart was INR 49999 during sales (without additional card based discounts) and non sale price being INR 56999 and MSRP being 59999. If you are comparing MSRP of both, then it comes to $200 difference. Neither of the phone will be sold at MRP though as they are always on discount.

      May 12, 2023 at 4:04 am

@Plastik Square so you’re saying we must not buy from Amazon right…???

    • Plastik Square

      May 12, 2023 at 4:52 am

@Nalinakshi TR Yes. Stick to authorised seller.

Idk in US, whether people are interested in design, looks or some serious specs. warriors ? Instead of display, performance, call quality, battery life and cameras.

Here in India, it fall into premium mid-range pricing category. So, it is slightly overpriced to its performance.

If you want pixel 7a really bad, just wait for some sales in Amazon or which ever platform it is sold where you’ll see some good discounts or offers.

At 500 it’s not a good deal but the google store is offering a free case and a series buds for 500 and that’s definitely a deal worth taking if you need or want a new phone.

I’d never buy the Pixel 7a. Fisher Price builds higher-quality products. I returned both my Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 due to poor quality, extremely poor battery performance, video quality was terrible, WiFi/5G connectivity never displayed above 50% while all other devices in my home (Samsung, Apple, etc) consistently displayed 100% WiFi and 5G signal strength, and the last issue was the consistent heating of the Tensor G2. The heat was so significant that on multiple occasions both devices were entirely too hot to hold. Google can not continue to rely on a camera algorithm to peddle worthless devices that won’t last until its 3rd and final OS update. Absolute garbage. – Let’s also finally state that gimmicks like ‘Magic Eraser’ and ‘Photo Unblur’ are exactly that, gimmicks.

I don’t think the specs mean much to most people. The A series Pixels have always been smaller than their predecessors and are perfect for kids or people with smaller hands.
