It is exactly about free speech. Get real, kid.

It’s about censorship and bias.. your side is the bias, so you are crying.

I think Twitter’s intrinsic value is really far above than what’s on offer, if that wasn’t the case, why would everyone be mad about a bird app that lets you write few words. Smh.

This guy doesn’t have his facts right, or at least doesn’t have all the facts. There are MANY tweets that are totally censored/ erased. It’s not just about the algorithms not spreading a tweet.

Teddy is totally on point. On another note. Do we want the richest man in the world dictating on one the world’s largest social media platforms? On full disclosure I’m a huge Elon Musk fan.

If elin musk wanted power he’d buy all the gamestop shares and kill the market however he’s trying to buy Twitter for freedom of speech

A poison pill while having been used before, has never in history been triggered. If it were to be triggered, it would destroy the subject of the takeover and send the company into receivership and would cause the hostile acquirer to lose significant value in the stock they are holding.

The roadmap for this is laid out in “settled” law from the Revlon supreme court case from the 1970 which established a BoD’s fiduciary duty to shareholders.

    • Tylr

What does that even mean? There is no algorithm file that can be published. It changes per person and changes every second

    1. It is a public company so idk how you botched that talking point 2. The fact that the board has only 0.1% shows that they don’t care bout about the company to have any skin in the game

  28. Mike Roerig

    April 19, 2022 at 1:44 pm

Teddy, you got it wrong, very wrong. MOST PEOPLE having freedom to say what they want is not free speech. Trump is a very good example. You might not like what he says but he has the right to say it… or at least he used to have the right to say it.

  29. J

    April 19, 2022 at 5:07 pm

0:50 This is not the view of Musk. He’s not a conservative, or a liberal. He’s a political centrist on most issues. It’s not in any way a partisan issue for him. It’s free speech generally that’s he’s concerned with.

  30. Darth Julianus

    April 19, 2022 at 7:16 pm

It’s about free speech. It’s about taking power away from ‘content moderator’ absolutists that care only about their own power.

Word play and dancing around the truth are why no one watches liberal media outlets anymore
