@CNET I unfortunately lost my collection in a fire a couple years ago, but have been collecting since, mostly the Speed Champions; even built a dyno testing garage.

When I heard this was first coming out, I really thought that it would be a functional Nintendo System made out of Lego’s….. boy was I in for a disappointment….

    • Omniferous Swan

      August 21, 2020 at 10:15 pm

Kind of an unrealistic expectation to assume a lego model would be functional. If you buy a lego deathstar do you assume it can destroy planets?

    • Maiku Tsukino

      August 22, 2020 at 12:09 am

@Omniferous Swan …..wow. I don’t know how to reply to that level of “Out There”. Kinda like asking someone if they bought an airsoft gun thinking it fired real bullets. I might need a few more beers before I can grasp your level and respond properly.

    • Omniferous Swan

      August 22, 2020 at 12:17 am

@Maiku Tsukino you’re just proving my point more. Why would anyone think a replica would do the same thing?

    • Maiku Tsukino

      August 22, 2020 at 12:35 am

@Omniferous Swan Hold up. I’m still not drunk enough to be at your level. I’m working on it. I’m working on it.

    • Blue

      August 23, 2020 at 12:17 am

@Omniferous Swan not that I would expect this to be functional either but it’s a far reaching example.
A death star isn’t really plausible but including the wires and components pre included with the kit to use the Lego as a chassis wouldn’t be as difficult.

    • Omniferous Swan

      August 23, 2020 at 12:33 am

@Blue i can think of a hundred reasons why it would be very difficult and dangerous. 😅 But yeah. It was an unequivocal example. Just the first lego model to come to mind.

  25. Levi Czika

If you have ever taken apart a Nintendo you would know that it’s made of very few components and you could easily fit one into that Lego model. I would buy the model and retro fit it to work. Now that would be a fun project!
