Yeah, yeah. But just in case this is another crap prediction like all the others made the last two thousands, we should do something for the future of humankind.

Ha, Climate change again. Ask yourself, when your taxes skyrocket, who benefits financially. Al Gore certainly did 10 years ago and now, who’s the front person. The kid, Greta St.? It’s a sham perpetrated by the left and adding a bunch of paid scientists to give it legitimacy is even more of a farce. An old version of the new BLM movement, specifically started to divide the country and make a few folks really wealthy.

    • Bread Fan

      September 30, 2020 at 8:11 pm

I asked myself, but myself didn’t answer. So, when our taxes skyrocket, who will benefit financially?

    • Amachtinger

      September 30, 2020 at 8:54 pm

@Bread Fan Funny. Do you think the owners of Solindra were donors to Obama’s campaign? MUltiply that by a trillion and you get the Green new Deal.

.Evidence (Antarctic ice core analysis) demonstrates that climate change is due to recurring 100 thousand year cycles.
We are nearing the peak of a warming cycle that has not yet reached previous maximum levels … still 2 degrees C colder than previous (when humans were not around) .
That Earth may be warming, therefore, is not surprising.
Global temperature has increased less than 1 degree C over the past 50 years.
No evidence exists that human impact on the warming is significant.

You are clearly a scientist. Clearly.
And an honest scientist, I might add, unlike all the other evil scientists who are conspiring to convince us that the change is anthropogenic.
God damn, people have no shame whatsoever.

We are in the end game of affordable oil.
    Expensive oil means expensive food.
Food & oil are linked 3 ways.
    1. Farm chemicals made from oil and gas that triple farm productivity. The Green revolution.
    2. Farm machinery powered by diesel from oil.
    3. Transport to our local shops powered by diesel.
When I was born in 1948 there was 2 billion people living on planet Earth. Now, only 70 years later there are 7 billion.
A reversal of the Green revolution would mean agriculture would be unable to feed 7 billion people.
Is anything being done about this problem?

But look at all the failed predictions based on the climate models and ridiculous claims made by activists and scientist activists.

NASA Goddard Institute (GISS) and NOAA constantly adjust the same temperature data to produce “bogus” warming graphs. There is doubt about the validity of these adjustments. Why not watch this link below then tell me why you’re not convinced about this.
See why climate alarmism is ridiculous:

It’s not true that 97% of scientists agree with this climate alarmism.

Dr Chris Landsea hurricane researcher at NOAA resigned from the IPCC saying “I personally cannot in good faith continue to contribute to a process that I view as both being motivated by pre-conceived agendas and being scientifically unsound”.
The Plenary Panel of political appointees at the head of the IPCC approves the outline of the IPCC report before the scientific authors are selected. The Summary for Policymakers is also written by them. Any scientific studies not consistent with the Summary are removed from the IPCC report.
Or so says Climatologist Dr Richard Keen who seems to agree with Tony Heller as regards surface temperature adjustments. The video is from 2015.

Dr Peter Ridd was sacked for telling the truth that the Great Barrier Reef was in excellent health,
Reports of GBR death have been greatly exaggerated.

See this example of climate propaganda which cherry-picks start and end dates to produce misleading graphs when trying to influence policy makers.
As an ordinary person am I expected to believe the extreme alarmism from Extinction Rebellion & others who say climate trends are dangerous, and we have 12 years to save the earth before tipping points lead us to extinction. It was President Obama who tweeted Ninety-seven percent of scientists agree: #climate change is real, man-made and dangerous. Read more: OFA.BO/gJsdFp
Even today scientific reports are produced giving exaggerated outcomes based on the thoroughly discredited RCP8.5 “business as usual” climate model, but these outcomes most scientists don’t believe will ever happen.
If you have time, why not read What the Climate Wars did to Science by Matt Ridley

There’s two big factors that go unaccounted for in true climate “change”. One is simply total population density, because human bodies create actual heat. Two ______……

    One # impacts the environment more than any other – population;
    more people, more impact.
What is needed is an acknowledgment of the existence of unnecessary activities:
    Alcohol production/consumption.
    Professional Sports?
    How about:
Daylight only commerce? Six day/week commerce?
12V DC distributed production residential power grid?
If you are not willing to part with alcohol, don’t talk about melting ice or dirty air.
Should be “mine” currency from the air as in actual, physical coins made from carbon dust?

  30. asmacarthur

    October 1, 2020 at 3:34 am

1 gallon of gasoline weights approx. 6.25 Lbs.
Burn it, and you produce 6.25 Lbs of something else (matter is neither created nor destroyed, heat does not have mass – according to Newton).
What is t/ environmental impact of you maintaining your “overfed self” status? It’s a question.
LEEDS ranks buildings as whatever, and that is exactly what it means, nothing.
Earth Day (ilghts out?) Manhattan, 2018-19? No lights went out, none – I took photos myself, hoping to see something different whilst looking at Manhattan from Hamilton Park.
Capital One in West Creek VA (west of Richmond) – no light switches in any rooms, lights automatically turn off if you are not a leg jigger, wagging your crossed legs or jigging your foot.

    • Georg Plaz

are you an AI? your posts make little to no sense

  31. asmacarthur

    October 1, 2020 at 3:37 am

Are there any buildings on Earth that are comprised of solar-paneled windows – all sides?
The most expensive part of any natural power project is – the dirt. Where to put it.
Stop suckering for “environmental accords.” If the world adopted U.S. EPA regulations, would that have any impact? Are U.S. rivers conveying tons of plastic to the open ocean as takes place in other geographies?

    • Georg Plaz

      October 2, 2020 at 11:16 am

the EPA regulations are not very strong. You can take the fact that the US is leading almost all environmental pollution charts. Many other industriualiced countries have much stronger laws (yet still not strong enough)

  32. asmacarthur

    October 1, 2020 at 3:44 am

Anyone who comments on “President Trump,” is part of the problem.
No? How old is your cell phone?
Did you ride a bicycle or walk to your destination today – too far? tell that to someone indigenous.
Watering a “lawn?” Multiple bathrooms in a residence?
What was the electrical bill at some prominent “environmentalist’s” residence last month?
Nature cares for animals just fine, what do we need zoos and pets for if we are talking about survival.
Last time you had alcohol of any kind?
Want your kids to get a good education, to get good jobs, to earn good money, to buy lots of stuff?

  33. asmacarthur

    October 1, 2020 at 3:47 am

When President Nixon signed the EPA in to creation in 1970, the focus was Waste, & Pollution.
If you could not stomach getting around in a golf cart next to the businesses and services you need to maintain yourself, then step back from the conversation because mankind is not going to approach health and medical care the way nature does – ever. Nature sacrifices the old, young, sick, weak. Are we going to acknowledge that nature does not reinvest IN the old, young, sick, weak, but rather does something else.

Most of the names I recognize are self appointed cultural leaders. Where are the actual types who are doing thing? Elon Musk…Jack Ma…Bill Gates…Someone from Apple…etc. They are the ones who are not only garnering publicity for themselves, but doing the hard work to change the world, i.e. businessmen and women. Here in Asia, business people and the capitalistic system have taken billions out of poverty in the last 30 years. Which is why a pragmatic China, not the USA with it’s “Green” heroes who see utopian visions that won’t work,, will be the leader of the future.
