Growing up with Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon and The Accidental Spy will always make Jackie Chan a childhood legend for me. I highly recommend one of his earlier movies, The Drunken Master, so funny and delightfully 70’s corny!

To whoever runs this channel and picks the guests. Thank you so much for hosting Jackie Chan, he is by far one of the well, to me important marital artists out there in films. I plan to get around to watching the ones before him, but I remember growing up seeing a lot of the films with Jackie Chan and Jet Lil, they all were so amazing to watch because of the fighting styles being like a dance, they had to time everything just so. Plus Jackie Chan doing all his own stunts it was always so crazy to see at the end of each film the bloopers. By far I loved the oldies like Drunken Master because that’s such a crazy style and works purely because it doesn’t broadcast the moves, making it hard for the opponent to actually predict what move to make back. Most fighting styles are either offensive or defensive, to me the best is the kind that deflects and redirects because it’s purely moving their energy onto you back at them if done right. I don’t really physically myself know the fighting styles, I’ve just admired a lot through various medias. If you really wanna throw a obscure one most people don’t know of Jackie Chan and it’s one film called Vampire Effect I believe? It’s been so long since I’ve seen it but it’s adorable story if you ask me and he’s a security guard. Anyways. Thanks so much for this, I loved every second of it.

Not true. I watched Dragons Forever couple times in the past and you can clearly see it’s a double. Don’t get why. Those stunts look like you could’ve easily performed them yourself. Same with Jet Li in the earlier films.
