I love what Apple did with the 16e. I personally like saving money. Ill grab a case with 🧲 i wouldn’t want the iPhone 15 it doesn’t have any of the new software features. Not to mention all that battery life without having to buy a 6.5 display. Android ppl have always hated on Apple to no avail.

😬My take on the 16E in more of a successor to the XR. And people bought the XR like hotcakes. SE was never viewed as “modern” phone in term of its design. If you see anyone holding a SE on the street you will know it’s an “old” phone no doubt. The new 16E will not be so, of course you’re still able to tell the difference if you look closely. But that’s the point. It’s a modern looking iPhone for $600! And just like that people will buy it. Before people pointing out the single camera, the notch, and MagSafe. Thinking about how the XR outsold the XS and XS Max despite being heavily criticize of the low screen resolution. 🤓

My black 16e 128gb arrives Friday.
Folks the SE is dead. Discontinued. I thought it was overpriced until I did some research.
$599 for 128 gb means it costs $4.68 per gb. The SE3? $429 for 64 gb. $6.70 per gb.
My current phone, the iPhone 6 cost me $649 for 16 gb. $40.56 PER GB.

You didn’t mention the 16e has a new apple modem vs the qualcomm in all other models. There has been some negativity regarding the apple modem.

i’m getting the 256gb for £580 with 12 mini trade in can’t wait i don’t need 3 or 4 cameras only need 1 and don’t need mag safe would never use that battery life is going to be great also i prefer the small notch over the dynamic island i think that looks weird i will get the upgrade when they add the round dot hole lol

It is cropped in, so it is digital zoom. The difference between optical and digital-cropping is nominal, so effectively, it has two lenses.

Yes iPhone 16/16e can shot a better digital crop photo than 3-4 year old android phone’s telephoto only in daylight or in good lighting conditions,
No match for today’s telephoto lense.

I love the 16 e having the a18 chip, the notch of iphone 14 and that insane battery life like the 16 plus version. Definitely a huge upgrade for folks like me coming from the iphone 12
