There’s no way an iPhone survived a car crash impact without a case and a screen protector

So basically the regular 14 is last year’s 13 pro. With the light blue and cinematic mode. 👍

    • VoidBoi

      September 8, 2022 at 11:46 pm

And a smaller camera modular because it has, only two cameras

    • Pedro Albuquerque Santos

      September 9, 2022 at 12:38 am

@VoidBoi It’s kind of a mix between the 13 and 13 Pro. The 14 also doesn’t have 120 Hz screen like the 13 Pro does. It’s still 60 Hz, which is a joke for that price in 2022.

iphone users are always in mortal dangers judging from how much they used the crash detection and satellite sos as a selling point

  8. Ed Hudley

    September 8, 2022 at 11:42 pm

This was suppose to be a spec review, yet nothing about if the 14’s actually have the Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 modem as all the “leakers” has been reporting for the past year. Is it odd to no one that this is not a WiFi6E device?

  9. Mark Woods

    September 8, 2022 at 11:42 pm

I’m going to upgrade to a 14 Pro as soon as it’s available. Another 8 days it looks like

    lmfao RIP OFF!
theres no Big difference between the 14 pro vs 13 pro!
Now that is cheaper ill just buy the 13 pro

    • Dan Tan

      September 9, 2022 at 12:01 am

Well the notch is gone, new 48MP camera, and AOD seem to be the biggest upgrades. Plus, you can’t buy a 13 Pro anymore unless you go to 3rd parties. Essentially, you can get a 14 instead since it’s almost the same phone

    • Marki

      September 9, 2022 at 12:32 am

      Camera is a major difference

  17. Dennis Liu

For anyone wondering about the esim problem, they ONLY sell those models in the US. Other countries will still have both physical and esim card in the new iPhone 14 and 14 pro

    • Pedro Albuquerque Santos

      September 9, 2022 at 12:34 am

For now. They will surely start to remove the SIM card slot from other markets in future iPhone models.

Apple make it next to impossible to upgrade many of their products. Simply being able to replace a battery, ssd or ram is a big no no for apple. They lie about caring about the environment. In reality it’s about maxing out profits.

Apple’s lack of innovation resorts in all sorts of gimmicks

  30. You Tube

    September 9, 2022 at 7:15 am

Good to see the use of esim only, this should hopefully make it harder if not impossible to use in the case of theft. Make it only changeable if the old sim is first deactivated by the original owner & linked through an apple account that should also require proof of identity to set up.

    • FLAP JACK

      September 10, 2022 at 4:28 am

Screw that, what Apple should have done is keep the sim card slot but instead have the iPhone ask for a passcode / faceID check before it can be removed. For security having the iPhone eject the sim card slot through the software instead of having an insert on the side of the phone. I cannot use Esim at all since I need to switch between two devices constantly.

gentle reminder that iPhones should be switching to USB-C next year. Skip this year’s iphone. Let’s put a nail in the Lightning Port coffin once and for all.

  35. Mike D

    September 9, 2022 at 10:20 am

3x optical zoom, not 6x. Also did they really just claim the A16 chip was there to power the dynamic island feature… turn your brains on!

    • Steven Rogers

I mean, they have a co processor with in the A16 system that does

The Notch doesn’t expand. It extends the cut out appearance. Nothing can be displayed in the Notch area. It’s only around the eye sore. Gimmicks are gonna get ya.

MAJOR FAIL to put an oddball port from 2012 on a 2022 product, rather than use standard USB-C! No interest in iPhones until this is fixed.

Same here and now even less interested now without the physical sim card.

That island thing is intruding the entire top screen. No Sim tray means that you may not roam in other countries. I think samsung won this round
