Damn! Well, it’s safe to say the iPhone 12 Mini and the 12 Pro Max are about to sell-out too. 🤤💰🎤

At 1:42 you say the mini doesn’t shoot in Dolby Vision. Is that correct?

I always love small sized phones. Rare nowadays. Sony have the compact range which I love. Now apple is back with it. Great move apple

I noticed that there was a 5 second clip of the MagSafe duo and leather sleeve. Perhaps this will be for sale during the preorders?

This is the first video of the iPhones where the colors are accurate. Bravo to who shot and edited this video. Finally I know what the colors actually look like.

This is so important because if you are in an area with no Apple store nearby they will only show a couple colors as display models – and normally you’d like to really know the color before you purchase it.

Everyone was saying the white iPhone is pinkish(!) – but now thanks to this video I understand the nuance of the color.

Just look at those comparison videos they made for 12/12 Pro and other android phones, the 12/12 Pro looked like mini sized compared to the android counterparts, then look at this video, the mini is really MINI lol

I think foldables has the good direction, imagine getting big screen for viewing contents and a small one that can fit on your pocket.

As SOON as I heard there was a mini version that has pretty much the same internals and camera… I was instantly sold. I’m coming from an iPhone7+ and I’m SOOOOO TIRED of having a gigantic phone. It’s super cumbersome.

Always a pleasure to watch and hear the fantastic Dan Ackerman. My oldie Goldie goto person for windows computers.
On another note.. It’s been almost 15 years.. But I still miss and remember James Kim. It often feel like it was just yesterday that I heard about the cold cold incident.

  53. Jared Mars

    November 7, 2020 at 4:12 pm

I am using an s10 and the mini is the only apple phone in years that kinda makes me want to switch, I like smaller phones but they always get less specs which is the only problem.

  64. Matthew Kefford

    November 7, 2020 at 6:29 pm

Partially I think the 12 Mini seems fresh and new because it isn’t just an update. The iPhone 12 Pro is an updated iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone 12 replaces the iPhone 11. The 12 mini is a new class of device so it stands out. Also it just makes sense.

  65. RD Rae

    November 7, 2020 at 6:34 pm

It would and could have been different with no notch but fingerprint reader as on iPad. Yet, still same apart size.

  66. Christy Marshall

All the youtubers and reviewers are getting the 12 pro max.

If they release a 7.5 inch iPhone for people with big hands the average youtuber will still buy it. This world is so dumb

a little less in height (like 1 to 2 cm) would have been perfect but this is at least an acceptable phone finally from apple (will just wait to see if battery ok)

  90. The Watcher

    November 8, 2020 at 6:43 pm

Hope people that buy understand that smaller phone means battery life won’t be as good as ‘regular’ phones , I had a iPhone se 2020 and while battery life was good when lightly using it but start using it to watch YouTube/Netflix etc then the battery life drains fast.

  91. banjojamur

  93. cristiandemirel1918

    November 8, 2020 at 8:19 pm

I want a phone with decent performance, that can easily fit in my pocket, that has some water resistance, it’s well build and can handle a shock without breaking into a million pieces. I don’t care about cameras, I don’t play games on it, I don’t watch movies on it. I’m willing to pay up $400 for that phone. Is that too much to ask from the phone industry? Is it impossible to make?

  97. Nicolas

    November 8, 2020 at 11:02 pm

The mini CAN shoot in dolby vision. It’s just that it’s in 4k 30FPS when using dolby vision. The pro models can shoot dolby vision in 4k 60FPS.

  98. Eduardo Oliveira

    November 8, 2020 at 11:06 pm

The iPhone 12mini is a waste of money but it is a cool concept for those who still want a small device for whatever reason. Right now I have the iPhone 12 Pro Gold and it’s decent size and fits right in the Hands. 12mini is just too small.

12 mini should have all the features of a pro. Because everyone doesn’t have hulk hands

  110. Ricardo Milos

    November 9, 2020 at 8:13 am

I wish Android Manufacturers do the same! The best small phone I have ever seen with Android was the S10E, but it had some compromises, I wish it had the same specs and features like the S10 Plus.

  111. walktheworld

    November 9, 2020 at 8:19 am

it would be perfect when they remove the notch.

I have an iPhone SE1 and think that the 12 mini has a screen that is too large for me. I would prefer when in the 12 mini the screen does not occupy the entire phone because I don’t want an entertaining device, but a practical and well-designed communications device.

  113. Samir Padilla

    November 9, 2020 at 9:19 am

Hacking Genmoji: Tips for Using Apple’s AI Emoji and Image Playground

Apple Intelligence has restrictions on what art you can ask it to create in Image Playground and Genmoji — but CNET’s Bridget Carey has some tips on how to get around it. Although things get weird.
