If it’s not about 5G as the big factor in IPhone , then apart from that what would really make u wanna get these phones also it’s expensive and there’s no chargers included , well I mean it looks impressive and has good features but what’s totally different about it from previous phones that will make u buy this ?

    • Jareth Roman

      October 21, 2020 at 11:40 pm

    • latenight11

      October 22, 2020 at 8:22 pm

@Lex Luger I have a Samsung note for year’s. Android fans like the screen size, not everyone likes a small phone. There is a reason apple finally started making bigger phones. I would not be switching if not for the 6.7 screen

    • John Mils

      October 22, 2020 at 9:46 pm

Drew Niven yep, 12 has faster chip but that it, oh and camera that 99% of people won’t know the difference if they see a photo of a 5 vs 12 😂😂😂

    • John Mils

      October 22, 2020 at 9:47 pm

Sonya Williams well you are not missing anything, besides a charger 😂

    • Lex Luger

      October 22, 2020 at 10:03 pm

@John Mils you have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re probably just poor and hating. There are many iphone picture comparison reviews with visible differences. Also Apple acquired a camera start up in California a few years ago and overpaid for the technology seeing the potential.. This is the first time using it in a phone.

  16. S Willis

    October 21, 2020 at 12:32 am

Apple won’t send its charger or earpods when you buy your iPhone 12. Instead they will repackage it with even more packaging and send it to the Apple Store. In turn you use your gas or delivery service and pay even more for the charger, accessories and packaging they should have included with your $1000.00 iPhone in the first place? If any, Apple should be boycotted!

Interesting that almost every YouTuber who demonstrates the MagSafe charger, only shows the front side … nobody addresses fact that it still needs a USB C charging brick to plug into the wall, which is neither included with this charger nor with the phone, so must be bought separately. Also everyone seems to ignore the fact that this so-called “wireless charger” is itself wired with as much bulk and paraphernalia as simple and easy wired charging. And finally, everyone seems to be ignoring the fact that it won’t charge with a lot of the common accessories that people attach to their phones, including some cases.

But the final flaw of the MagSafe charger is that it requires quite a tug to detach it from the magnet, and in almost every YouTube demo I’ve seen so far, most tech reviewers pull on the cord itself and not on the magnetic circular part. Guaranteed that for many users, this cord will begin to fail … because if the tech-savvy reviewers who know how to handle equipment are tugging on the cord, then for sure a lot of the general public will be doing the same!?

I like iPhones, always had them but these seem very underwhelming, apart from 5G which isn’t a new thing there’s no innovation in these new iPhone’s

    October 22, 2020 at 12:15 am

Wait so is there no 3G antenna in the 12 and 12 pro?? There are some situations where LTE sucks and you get 1 bar but switching to 4G (aka 3G) you have better faster service. I know because I have a family member here in NY and I always turn LTE off on my iPhone 11 pro because I actually have a better connection in the area on 3g vs 4g LTE

Something you forgot to mention about the camera difference is that the pro can record 4K Dolby Vision at 60fps whereas the 12 maxes out at 30, likely due to the extra RAM in the pro.

  68. HeliTom

    October 23, 2020 at 12:51 am

    Hey,
Battery test shows the pro has better than the 12. How you got more battery on the 12 I’m not sure why.
The pro has so much better camera with the LiDAR. It’s night and day difference in low light situation.
The pro has also better RAM and it just feels premium built. It’s a no brainier IMO. Especially if you need 128+GB of storage.

    • HeliTom

      October 23, 2020 at 12:54 am

thanks to Tom’s Guide and their battery test – running a browser script at 150 nits and loading a new web page at 30 second intervals.

Under those conditions the iPhone 12 lasted for 8:25 hours on 5G and 10:23 hours on 4G – that’s around a 20% difference. The iPhone 12 Pro did a little better – 9:06 hours over 5G and 11:24 hours over LTE – again around 20% better.
