Typical Apple. Always clean and refined. Unlike that other G junk

Im still new to iOS being that I’ve only had my iPhone 13 Pro Max for over 8 months, but I like what iOS 16 is bringing in the fall

However……The “Always On Display” and “Multi-tasking” are features I miss while I had Android. Apple needs to have those features within their iOS

    • nice95gle

      July 14, 2022 at 6:45 pm

I may be wrong. But isn’t the iPhone 14 equipped with an AOD.
But even if it is. That wouldn’t help you seeing that you have a 13.

      July 14, 2022 at 8:59 pm

It’s rumored to be an exclusive feature for iPhone 14, that’s why we’re getting widgets on the Lock Screen

Android 13 is my personal favourite. I can’t wait for IOS to add more customisation features like Android.

Wait, Apple didn’t have haptic feedback on their key boards? Lol Imagine being excited about some of these features that’s been available on other devices for years! 😂😂😂😂😂

    • Simon Van Put

      July 14, 2022 at 11:10 pm

@Platinum199 yeah apples calls it taptic engine wich gives you the haptic feedback basically the same thing

    • Platinum199

      July 14, 2022 at 11:24 pm

@Trenton Matthews iOS user here, it hasn’t been a feature for the keyboards by default, only custom ones had it. I found this as one of the first things new about iOS 16 when I updated from iOS 15.

    • Platinum199

      July 14, 2022 at 11:26 pm

@Simon Van Put if it’s the same thing then yea we still got it, but I’m not too sure i specialise in pc’s more then I do in phones. But when I type on my screen I can feel little vibrations that makes it feel like im clicking or typing on a keyboard, except on a screen. The same clock happens when you hold apps or press certain things

    • Trenton Matthews

      July 14, 2022 at 11:33 pm

      @Platinum199

Correct. Again, unless you’re a VoiceOver user, like myself.

      Settings>Accessibility>Voiceover>Audio>Sound & Haptics.

@Platinum199 so it’s just a bad gimmick with no actual use

  7. OW

    July 14, 2022 at 7:01 pm

I have the beta, runs super smooth so far no bugs; maybe the battery takes a hit but it’s hard to tell with how much of a monster the battery is. Could care less about the haptic feedback (never liked it) or the AOD especially seeing how much of a batter drain it is on the Pixel 6 series.

All these reviewers getting so hyped about being able to edit and unsend messages, WhatsApp has been doing these for years. One can communicate very effectively with WhatsApp which is available cross-platform, why lock yourself to iMessage and act like that’s the only way you can communicate?

    • Platinum199

      July 14, 2022 at 9:53 pm

@EliasJohnny YT it won’t stop, people will always worship companies like Samsung or whatever as gods and turn everything into a massive deal

    • Paul Imisi

      July 14, 2022 at 10:08 pm

@EliasJohnny YT it’s not about who did it first. iMessage is rarely used by people outside North America. The rest of the world favors WhatsApp, and to them, this is nothing to be hyped about like it’s never been seen before. I’ve had an iPhone since the very first iPhone, but the ratio of my use of WhatsApp to iMessage is like 90:1

    • EliasJohnny YT

      July 14, 2022 at 11:50 pm

@Paul Imisi well here’s the reality: a lot of people DO use iMessage and other related apple apps and they’re finally able to do what whatsup users been bragging about all the time. Why Can’t they be excited and hyped too??
If you don’t care about something, it doesn’t mean everyone else is the same.
And if only one single person who uses them, he shouldn’t be happy?

@EliasJohnny YT because apple isnt crediting people something and owning it likes it’s yours and you made it, and it already exist for years made a whole party about it

Yea nah, android is horrible. I’ve never liked it. And iPhone 5 is a phone that was out like 8 years ago so get with the times. iOS feels more stable, is more secure, and does exactly what I need without any rubbish

@Simon Van Put I personally don’t care about repairing or having my stuff repaired because I haven’t had to in the last 5+ years only once with a screen replacement back in 2018 for my old iPad. Never with any of my phones though

@User yes i can believe it when it comes to the fine details they put into the os but it depends on what you’re using like im using the galaxy z fold3 (foldable) it’s pretty damn fast i mean for the price it better be it also has 12gb ram for the price but i don’t see myself going back to a standard phone like android iphone and foldables then im talking about the one you can fold into a tablet is a whole different thing for me atleast

Live wallpapers or Lock Screen wallpapers are gone, you used to be able to hold the live wallpaper down and it would play the Live Photo now it’s dedicated to changing the wallpaper. Idk if people used it all that much maybe apple is getting rid of that option but I did use it 🥲

I feel sorry for the competition cause Apple is just getting better and better and better. They’re miles ahead of the competition in terms of UI, User Experience, Ecosystem, Speed, Battery, and Updates and the competition has gimmicky features like 100X zoom, split screen, and 5 cameras.

Great video. Apples is slow to catch up with Android features and Jailbreak tweaks. Kairo tweak was able to schedule text messaging. If ios 16 is going to have this feature for email, they should have it for text mssg. too. They should also have color notifications that matched with the color of the app. that the notification comes from.
