@Chanal Adams I can’t disclose too much, but yea I’ve been using a coach called Alex l Orloff and through his guidance, I’ve been able to make approx. $74,000 in dividends on a monthly basis, it is pretty straightforward, not as complicated as it used to be.

To do what? I didn’t see a particular use case for healthcare personnel that should otherwise be focused on providing immediate care for the patients who are present and in need

That Hand Gestures Thing is Made/Developed by Google 8 years ago something and it’s called/named as Google Soli

      October 11, 2022 at 6:23 pm

Nope, Project Soil was just very basic full body motion sensing, not hand gesture sensing

The Term meta metaverse first showed up in 1992 in the popular virtual reality book called snow crash, if anything I think zack go the name from that book, pretty sure he read snowcrash he’s a geek and a big virtual reality fan.

Meta has bold plans, but its Facebook ad platform still has a fairly poor/clunky interface so that should be a priority first really.

Does anybody on this planet REALLY need these things Meta is working on ?
I mean … who cares if my online meeting avatar has facial expressions ? Do i really want to see how my collegue makes some silly face expressions during a conference ?
Most of this stuff is absolutely overhyped nonsense for me. Instead of concentrating on more important things like making AR devices smaller ( similar to the size of vuzix glasses or google glasses ) they spend millions of dollars and thousands of engineer workhours in that face tracking and spatial audio crap.

The Productivity of people will not rise by just having the avatar absolutely perfect in front of me at my office table.
This is just a hype of things we don´t need.

3D scans of things to use them in a virtual world might end up with homes that don´t have any real plants or furniture or real art… just virtually designed stuff.
    No thank you !

Meta going all in VR/AR technology but I don’t see the behaviour of users going to change for mass adoption. COVID time would have scaled this technology as it provided utility but post pandemic it will be hard to convince users this has greater value other than for leisure

  17. Chris Teasdale

    October 11, 2022 at 10:07 pm

If they really think anyone wants to actually look like their avatar should really watch the movie “Surrogates (2009)”.

Meta will end up getting destroyed by Apple. This is classic. Let another company do all the research and development then come out with a product that competes and destroys it.
