As a kid, I used to eat random plants not knowing if they were poisonous or not. It’s nice to know that I wasn’t killing myself because I used to eat most of those weeds. Especially, the lemon ones.

my family grows a lot of wild greens in our garden and the way my mom prepares it for dinner is by sauteing it with some salt, olive oil, garlic, and onion, and then adding chicken broth to make a delicious vegetable soup. I suggest you guys try it sometime.

I love wild edibles. There are two issues that you should have mentioned along with the pesticide/herbicide and toxins in the plants themselves; 1. Dogs peeing and pooping everywhere. 2. Public or private land can prohibit harvesting plants/fungi so you could be damaging the ecosystem or breaking the law.

I used to eat wood sorrel as a kid. It grew in our brick walkway I had to weed 😉
