How to live with fire:
A speech by Oral McGuire.
If his speech gets any drier,
He will surely draw my ire
Cause he’s preaching to the choir
Which includes a nun and friar

This is a surprising practice for me. I live in the northern climate and I remember my biology teacher saying that “controlled fires” are bad for the land as they destroy insects’ houses and seeds and natural organic fertilizers 🤔 Although I know there are some southern species of trees that can’t open the seeds and multiply without high temperatures of wildfires…
This is always so complicated and interconnected and it’s hard to choose what to trust – ancestors’ experience or new scientific researches.

This video change my stereotype, I originally think the fire is threaten for human. Because it is easily burn all of the article. But as a speaker mentioned it, these fire can give us the positive impact when we exploit for the right things and right control. Fire can regenerate and refresh our ground. Sometime it looks like a destructive manifestation but also be a beneficial strategy for environment.

Continues to amaze me that even today where we know for a fact that Australian First Nations people have ~65,000 years of continuous knowledge to work from that so-called ‘modern’ officials ignore it and blindly fee they know better. I know that this is a generalisation, so apologies to those officials who are genuinely trying to learn proven ways. Wonderful video 🤩👍

To live with fire is to embrace its warmth and power, yet respect its potential danger. Balance passion with caution, harnessing its energy to illuminate paths without letting it consume.
