Why not just use pressure sensors in the finger tips of the robot? Then set a limit to how much psi it can register before picking up

I hate this video.
Can you eat soup with a utensil? Well actually no not all utensils are able do this, as you can see this fork is unable to contain the liquid.
There’s numerous mechanisms that would make both of these things possible, of course it’s going to be hard to use a machine for a purpose it wasn’t designed for.

This is exactly why the Tesla bot showcase recently was even more impressive. The bot was showcasing fine motor manipulation and making changes in real time based on environmental changes.
