Yeah man that sucks that really sucks but there are some times in life where that just happens and at this point in my opinion you only have one of two options: go to the people from your past and see what you can do to talk about it and reflect on it or don’t and leave it in the past. Either way, I think you should not forget what happened but rather learn from it, as it shapes the good man you are today who is always trying so hard in everyone else’s eyes, whether you know it or not, but you should forgive yourself for it, because not doing so is no way to live with yourself. You are the only person in the world who sticks with you 24/7. You can either be your own best friend or your own worst enemy, so you have to choose. If you don’t think you deserve to be your own best friend for how you hurt those you loved, I do. I know that may not mean much to you, but trust me, the future version of you who finally made it out of the tunnel and looks back on the present you thinks the same thing I do. I know sleeping may be hard to do at times when you have a guilty conscience, especially considering how the present you are in right now reminds you of the past, but please try and forgive yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes even after making other mistakes. But it is not your fault, and it is not theirs either. It is a series of very unfortunate events, and do not beat yourself up over it. I hope this helped.
