tax AI and crack down on brazil with economic sanctions, which are well merited, and were applied to many countries in the past, otherwise let AI thrive and brazil superspread, it is no secret that brazil never obeys the EU

ACLU’s Ben Wizner: “For the same reasons that the Constitution prohibits the government from dictating what information we can see and read (outside narrow limits), it also prohibits the government from using its immense authority to coerce private actors into censoring on its behalf.”

that’s what i’m saying! what kind of fucked up twisted shit is this? & also, why does the government have the right to monetize off of our data, but citizens cannot?

This gave me a personal sense of satisfaction that was almost orgasmic. This was long due! The moment fb started to use facial recognition without consent and asking users to provide an id, that was the moment the government should have intervened. Who are this social media platforms that they feel entitled to ask their followers to provide such imp info in order to keep their social media page? They became bigger than our own government with more power than us united… to the point where they can decide unilaterally who can say what and when. They can f**k themselves, I don’t think they deserve that level of power from us. Regulate them NOW! Stop the controlling, the spying, the manipulation, etc. Give us our peace back! They will not control us. They will not use us. Allow a legislation that will prohibit them from spying on us. They should ask ppl if they want to voluntarily provide that info. And they should pay for that survey/poll… like other companies do.

Its counter intuitive went 1 person doing a good thing and another is doing a bad thing to offset that and the more bad offsets, then we will loose the war on facts and truth. If you are not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem, Period.

Social media is the peoples media . Corporate media is the elites media. The elites feel insecure about losing control over the people .
