Introducing TED’s newest podcast: Pindrop, hosted by Saleem Reshamwala.
Let’s say you go into labor in the back of a taxi. The traffic is so bad you don’t know if you’ll make it to the hospital on time. You make the obvious call to the local radio station — which serves as an emergency hotline, lost and found, and community noticeboard all at once. Now a team of motorcycle police (trained as midwives!) is on the way, weaving through the streets of this sinking city. Adaptability, connectivity, creativity in Bangkok, Thailand. (Audio only)

NOW THE SATANIC ELITE IS PUSHING 5G! WAKE UP AMERICA! WORLDWIDE 🌎PLANDEMIC⚠️ — Why is Bill Gates tracking our phones in 2020? Why are they pushing 5G? Why are they pushing harmful EMF on us? Bill Gates and other demonic people behind the curtains have been tracking our phones for a very long time now. Today they can track your phone and see exactly where you were and where you are at this right moment. Why do they want to chip everything we possess? Just so they can locate anyone of us anytime they wish to.

With 7 layers of high shielding fabric I was able to create a fine pouch for my phone, protecting my identity, privacy and health! I recommend everyone to take a moment to think about creating your own faraday pouch for your devices:

I loved my time there and liked some of the food 😉 (there is really great and reaaaally bad) – but you need to be able to stop breathing for the time you stay there, nothing wild. There are some days where your eyes will tear from all the pollution – even if you hold your breath. And yea – don’t drive there if you like to live an other day.

I want to visit Bangkok, it must be a very bright city from what I’ve heard and seen. I like this format of almost catching short stories and dialogues on radio waves. I also like podcasts. But for some reason a lot of content that Ted has put out lately can hardly be associated with Ted.

I like the idea of diversification of content but don’t lose the image. TedEd fits just fine, Tedx makes a good franchise and spreads the word on an international scale. Videos about famous books make reading attractive again, riddles also embrace this atmosphere of conversion of notion and creativity. But I couldn’t feel the same vibe in interviews and in this podcast. They may be interesting on their own (except some interviews are controversial and possibly lack quality, so there’s room for improvement), but they would be better off as a separate thing.

Whenever it comes to Ted podcasts I can only think of Ted daily and my favorite Ted Radio Hour. Pin Drop doesn’t quite encapsulates the formula but can be a great title on its own.

I hope Ted doesn’t take this comment as hate, I just really wish a meaningful development for the whole brand without losing the face of it.

These are quite unique topics to choose to talk about Bangkok and it’s interesting to listen from a Thai person’s perspective. Also I can’t stress enough how important Monkey’s cheek, JS100 and Policemen are to Bangkok. I’m looking forward to hear about other cities around the world.

You can do anything you put your mind into but if you put your trust in the main stream media and you believe anything anyone tells you then that does not apply to you as you become easily brainwashed and therefore greatly limited. TED is considered as one of the main stream medias.

As a Thai, first I have to clarify for you listeners and comments readers that
JS100 is not any radio station but a specifically TRAFFIC REPORT station,
where listeners phone in and report a real-time situation of the traffic where they’re in.
Any accidents or on-the-road-urgent-help-needed cases are also reported here,
so the others can either avoid the cluster or help out if they’re available nearby.
There will not be talk or music, just the traffic reports all day long,
and may be some hot news at the beginning of each hour.

It’s nice to hear every now and then how the world see us.
And to be honest, all that is described in this episode are TRUE.
I, for one, confirmed that! XD

Good topic. But I’ll stick to non-Google-sponsored podcasts, thanks.
