“what do we have to go off of? It’s Tesla’s results . . .” Then ignores Elon’s lies on FSD since 2017. She has no idea what she is talking about. Bloomberg tech even talked about how he staged the FSD video years ago. Obvious fraud, lololololololololololololol

    • E. Camilo

      January 26, 2023 at 8:45 am

She has been saying full FSD will be out by 2025, and cars will drive themselves around like taxis. 🤡 If you are a programmer and understand what is behind FSD, you know this is completely BS. Apart from that, Tesla makes awesome products.

    • Roger Heuckeroth

      January 26, 2023 at 11:29 am

@E. Camilo I don’t know when Tesla will be at that point, but I think they will beat all the competition to a general, non geo-fenced, solution. That being said, their FSD today is not even close IMO.

It’s a no brainer, if you install a home solar and battery storage setup you then have with your EV FREE unlimited milage, consider how much you pay in gas each year but with this type of package you not only save the cost of gas, save the journey to the gas station and you get free electricity to run your home saving even more money add it all up and work out when it all pays for itself.

    • JW888

      January 26, 2023 at 9:40 am

That’s fine if you only use the car for daily commutes (and go home everyday!)😃

    • hawklord100

      January 26, 2023 at 5:23 pm

@JW888 Lets be generous and say you don’t drive more than 200 miles a day then you have plenty left for comfort, heating, lights, stereo etc… and still all for free.. so a thousand miles a week for free…

    • hawklord100

      January 27, 2023 at 9:04 am

@JW888 LOL you are having a laugh pal, with hundreds of thousands of public chargers in the USA and over 30,000 in the tiny island of Britian, your apps and google maps telling you where they are, you can take two minutes to check where you might need to stop (after driving 300 miles) to charge up, no one can drive 4 hours without a bite to eat, strech their legs and get a coffee while the charger sticks another 80-100% charge in the car inside an hour. LOL

    • JW888

      January 27, 2023 at 10:03 am

@hawklord100 stopping used to be an option. Now it’s a chore. And you don’t get to decide how long you stop.

Why does this women think everyone hates Elon. Anyone who is not threatened by the fact he is straight, white male and one of the greatest human beings to ever live, loves him.

    • Tech-Utuber

      January 26, 2023 at 10:01 pm

One can certainly admire Elon’s ability to execute as far as technology and engineering is concerned. He is on the level of Napoleon Bonaparte when waging war on technical challenges, as he usually triumphs.

His record regarding people and social issues however is actually appalling and forced me to reevaluate who I thought he was.

If one takes the time to to review the details of how he has actually treated Twitter employees, as opposed to respectfully firing them, you have to shake your head in disbelief. When Mark Zuckerberg of all people is more considerate and respectful while terminating people’s jobs, that’s not something to be admired.

It turns out that Elon is a uniquely brilliant a**hole. We have to take the good with the bad.

    • DHayes

      January 26, 2023 at 10:12 pm

@Tech-Utuber I’m not sure if usually is the proper word. The tesla solar roof, the hyperloop, and nuralink are all pretty big failures. I don’t mean to detract from SpaceX. Tesla is kinda mixed. Fingers crossed on city streets fsd, but that was promised by 2017 i believe. The people who fall asleep in those things are terrifying and all it takes is seeing one sleeper or woman doing make up to turn nearby drivers vehemently against tesla. They shouldn’t be doing beta testing on public roads.

    • Bikepacker

      January 26, 2023 at 10:15 pm

@JRP3 I assume you do not know Elon… So you obviously listen to some media. Let’s be honest, your a Democrat, Trump hater who would not lower himself to watch Fox News. We are never going to agree, time will prove me right unless some nut on your side off politics assassinates Elon because they cannot stand the fact that he is proving their opinions wrong. Don’t waist your time arguing, we both think we are right, one of us is wrong, time will tell who that is, who knows, it could be me who is wrong. I hope your open minded enough to think the same about the possibility of you being wrong. Have a nice life. Please don’t reply, it’s a waist of both our times. And I only read the first few lines of you last reply anyway. In will not be reading your next reply. Good luck, god bless (if there is a god), I wish you health and happiness. PS I don’t watch Fox News either😀

    • Tech-Utuber

      January 26, 2023 at 10:18 pm

@DHayes I do not disagree but the ending story to the things you just mentioned are not yet completed.

The government may decide that beta testing on public roads in the future was a serious infraction and that his repeated rhetoric about autonomy is fraudulent. That will be a serious blow.

    • Luke Swain

      January 26, 2023 at 11:41 am

    • Free Think

    • Luke Swain

      January 27, 2023 at 6:51 am

@Free Think that is your conclusion from me making a real, objective argument based on data and facts while you don’t make it past ranting and slurs? Your self reflection is non existent. Personal attacks in a fact based conversation are clear signs of someone who cannot contribute a discussion otherwise. So everyone can see who is the poorly educated jerk here. 4 replies later and your hands are still empty.

There is no demand erosion for Tesla. Bloomberg should try doing some research. If there were a demand problem in China, which there isn’t – they could just export to other countries. GM, Ford, Toyota and other legacy manufacturers are all trending down.

Charging $15,000 today for a future promise of full self-driving in the future is a huge mistake as it is many, many years away from being approved with no guarantee.

Elan himself has stated that Tesla has no future value without this capability.

What if the government determines that elon’s repeated full self-driving, autopilot rhetoric is fraudulent?

What if level 4 autonomy approval, (not level 5), is 6 years away? What if the steering wheel cannot be removed even fifteen years into the future?

Do not be confused by the multitude of erroneous artificial intelligence ‘News’ presented by the media. True autonomy “seeing like a human being” in ALL conditions (Elon’s goal) requires more than just data, it requires an evolving conceptual structure informed by data. That’s why a team of human beings at Tesla constantly monitors and modifies the algorithms based on the data that’s constantly collected. The hand-tuning performed by these people eventually has to be replaced by the intelligence of the system. This is what this “expert” appearing in this report does not comprehend.
