Are Tesla Cybertruck Tires TRASH?
Some Cybertruck owners are complaining that their tires are wearing out quickly — like very, very quickly. One user reported that he’s nearing the end of his tread after just 6,000 miles of summer street and highway driving. The Cybertruck weighs nearly 7,000lbs / 3,000kg, so its tires are going to grind down faster than…

The Radioactive “Miracle Water” That Killed Its Believers
If you lived in the 1920s, you might have found a pamphlet advertising “the greatest therapeutic force known to mankind.” Radithor was a tiny bottle of clear, colorless water that claimed to cure acne, anemia, heart disease, poison ivy, impotence, asthma, and any other malady you could imagine. There was only one side effect: DEATH.…

What’s Really Underneath This Massive, Noisy Siberian Crater?
In a remote area of the Siberian tundra, there’s a place that locals call ‘The Gateway to Hell.’ In the summer, its peaceful waterfall sounds are interrupted by the booms and crashes of falling earth. And while it‘s not actually a portal to another dimension, the Batagay Crater (technically a “megaslump”) is an unsettling mark…

Uh yes, my 7500 lb diesel I’ve put over 50,000 on my all terrains and they are only at half their tread life. And yes my truck has plenty enough torque.

Tesla owner here. I get about 35,000 to 40,000 miles on a set of tires that should last 50,000. This was a known and expected issue because the vehicle is heavy and has an extreme amount of torque which can grind tires down faster. So while all Tesla’s do this, the Cybertruck seems to be extreme.
Zero chance I will buy a cybertruck. I’ve owned multiple Teslas (3/Y) and love them so for whoever is curious on build quality, reliability, user satisfaction I can say it’s pretty high. Though I will never buy another Tesla now that Elon is totally off the deep end.????

@@joeleebristol yeah they’ve had problems. But in fairness every Tesla Model has for the first 6 months. Not defending it, just saying I’m sure the build quality will be fine in a little while. I still don’t want one though!

I don’t get the Elon comment though. It’s like saying “I’m not gonna buy Apple since the CEO is gay”. If the product is good, why bother looking at the CEO? You’re likely to not agree with many corporate heads all over the world, which would mean you’d have to stop using most of the tools and products you use everyday.

When you have over 600 horsepower (800 for the 3-motor variant) and a ~3 second 0-60, it’s inevitable regularly using all that acceleration power will destroy your tires.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Corinthians 7:10)
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:7)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Heavy foot is the cause. I’m going to need new tires around 20k because I’m a heavy foot driver myself, but 6k miles man they must have always punched any chance they could lol
My next tire will be all terrains, all seasons I feel are too soft and burn quicker

Aggressive driving will destroy tires on any vehicle.
My raptor blew through tires because I drove aggressively.
My super duty 5.7 diesel has 60,000+ on the same tires and they look new still.
