Why the hell would Tesla want to throw Apple any bones? They don’t need Apple- that would be a chip in their armor & unnecessary baggage.

Apple and Tesla partnership will be amazing but the biggest problem will be who will have leadership position. Tesla battery and car innovation can help Apple. Apple can also help fund SpaceX demand for Starlink project.

Self driving is the most difficult task for enabling in cars. Human attention is required on roads. I think that apple has the ability to develop and build their own car. But it will be price d just like an iPhone.

What I think happens is …. nothing. This is just another standard “report”…. on a slow news day. Tim Cooke is not the type of CEO that is going to break into an emerging and dynamic marketplace where significant innovation and capital is required. Tim and his new apple are not built to compete with the likes of Tesla. Apple is barely innovating within their own industry and to think they would disrupt another, especially with the likes of Tesla is laughable. Looking forward to seeing this headline again annually for the next 2-3 years ..

Kind of amazing they have this guy out there and he throws out a “joint venture with tesla” as an “insight” … sadly, he doesn’t have a clue. Amazing that people trust guys like this with their capital. Not trying to put him down but he really doesn’t have a clue and shouldn’t be participating in this interview.

I’m a huge Apple fan, however, I have mixed feelings about Apple entering the EV market. Doesn’t feel genuine and perhaps a move to protect investors from going to Tesla. Is Apple slowing losing their way? I own both stocks, however, I would root for Tesla. This could backfire on Apple….BIG TIME!

LOL 😂, Apple car charging cable $6000 optional. Apple charging high speed brick another $6000 for your car. If your car gets water damage bill deny repair and say you have to buy a new one.
Any electrical problem they will tell you it’s unfixable and you’ll have to buy a new car.
Apple denies service and technical information to third-party repair shops so they are the only ones who can repair your car at an extra ordinary high price.
Apple will LOCK your software and brick your vehicles operation if a third-party works on it and claim it’s for security or safety.
But they’ll gladly unlock your vehicle software if you pay their outrageously high extortion price and take it into only one of their authorized repair facilities.
    YEP !!! I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO A APPLE CAR 🍎 🚗 .

I feel like Apple in last few years has been secretly funding themselves to get themselves into tesla like electric and self sustaining industry by selling shit phones that people buy with blind eyes…
I like apple but they have not done anything innovative since I phone 5s in 2013… all the phone that Apple made after that are not that good.
Apple got what they needed ..

I don’t agree that Tesla is going to be considering partnering with Apple. Not after Apple refused to partner back when Tesla actually needed somebody. Tesla has thought of partnering it seems to me Daimler would be the most obvious choice if it’s going to be a Legacy auto.
