1:41 What. The power cable? The thing you plug in once and potentially never again? This is one of your favourite features? When Jobs described the Mac as a bicycle for the mind, he was speaking about elevating the world’s consciousness with all of the incredible possibilities this accessible technology would unlock. And one of your favourite things is how it connects to power? A wild take!

Those add-on prices are ridiculous in my opinion.

Nice gift for middle and high school kids. Too many limitations for adults with a job (ports, heights ,and ecosystem).

I think working adults would be better off with the M2/M3 Mac Mini, including 16GB of RAM.

This would also look great in a library

Not happening. Apple confirmed with The Verge earlier today that there are no plans to make a 27 in. I’m settling with the 24in.

@That’s right lol I know. But if it makes you feel better, pretty much all reviewers on YouTube said that you get used to the size real quick and won’t even notice. So well ser

Yeah, isn’t really $200 more. Retailers typically discount the “standard” iMac configs they can’t carry the upgraded memory. So you have to typically BTO (Build To Order) from Apple so you lose that discount on top of paying $200 more for RAM. Shame Apple isn’t offering more RAM on the upgraded “standard” configs that retailers carry. Also notice how all the tech reviewers seemed to get the 24GB RAM version to review?

Attention all 27in iMac people… Apple confirmed today that they have no plans to make a 27in iMac, full stop ( reported from the Verge ) so stop waiting for it. Either settle for this or, get a Mac Mini and get a 27 in monitor.

There are opportunities available to improve the 24-inch iMac’s design, and I’m disappointed Apple hasn’
t taken advantage of them. The right side of the machine offers a lone earphone jack, nothing else. The would be a great place to add the SD card slot. I would also like to see a MicroSD card slot, a USB-C port, and a USB-A port there.

They should have given it an m3 max option! I don’t get it! I much prefer an iMac but not forced to get a MacBook just for the m3 max. Super fail

8 gigs of ram is crazy.

I think it’s time they move to 16gb base, iMacs have had 8gb base since 2012.
