Dude jokingly repeats a line from a movie that fit the situation he was in. Most people loved it which is why it went viral. It was only when people realized he was a big wig at AAPL that a few people got mad.
Does Apple not stand for free speech? Freedom of ideas? or at the very least, the freedom to tell a joke? Lets be honest, nobody was offended by that joke. Some people just like to see successful people fall. If a tiny group of ‘speech terrorists’ can hold Apple hostage and force them to strip an employee of everything they have just because they told a distasteful joke in their free time – we are ALL in big trouble. This is a big loss for Apple and anybody who believes in freedom.
