    Consumerism is a disease

With all that is known about the tragic horror that is the amazon labor environment how can CNET promote them?

There are lots and lots of jobs available out there now. If people don’t like it find another job

      September 1, 2022 at 12:32 pm

Because unfortunately we live in a consumeristic dystopia

    • Jamie S

      September 1, 2022 at 12:36 pm

@Peter B Yeah true, but Amazon certainly capitalises on that

    • Jensen Raylight

      September 1, 2022 at 12:37 pm

then, you should stop using amazon, also you should stop using internet too, because the majority of the internet is run by Amazon web service.
see, it’s easy to complain right,
how can i take your comment seriously if you’re still a loyal customer of amazon and amazon product yourself.

Well, these are nice to have, not necessarily must haves

Modern consumers in a nutshell: I NEED THIS NOW (but they don’t actually need it)

  4. Giancarlo Padilla

    September 1, 2022 at 12:53 pm

Must be nice when inflation doesn’t hurt you as much and think these are “must have” items. They’re nice not must haves…

Would be nice if CNet can arrange some jobs for us . 60% of its viewers are currently unemployed and borderline homeless. You think we gonna spend 100 dollars on mindless ,useless consumer products just so that u van make money off of us ?

    • JoeCas

@Ginger Grant empathy is useless in the comments section. ????

4:09 I don’t like Legos. They used to be boxes of standard pieces that children could use to create things from their imagination. Now they’re custom pieces for specific designs. I don’t like Legos. (Repeated for emphasis.)

    • tmurchjr

      September 1, 2022 at 1:18 pm

The Lego standard pieces that you reference are still available. The specific design sets are produced in addition and alongside the standard ones you prefer. And explaining repetition for emphasis to an editorial is also dumb. What a waste of you comment.

I like the rbg lights. Wonder if they would mount on well with command strips. I live in a place where I can’t mount anything on the walls. It’s been a challenge.

I bought all these items with my hard-earned money and then was immediately compensated by CNET.

Check out the Sofabaton U1. After losing the remote for my soundbar I thought I’d get a Logitech Harmony only to realise they’ve been discontinued. I took the plunge and I’m happy with my cheap alternative. I think it cost €60?

I like the lights and orchid, which would be a good gift, instead of real flowers that only last a short time, especially if you build them with the person, like your Mum or Nan.
