Arm processors are a joke on Windows. Qualcomm with each gen has been behind of the Iphone in benchmarks every year. The fact that The M1 floors the Surface Pro X second gen many times over just proves that if you’re going windows, stick with intel/amd.

You can’t compare desktop/laptop operating systems with smartphone operating systems.

All that “power” from A series chips on iPhones and yet garbage iOS holds it back severely. Android is way ahead of iOS.

On the desktop side however, yes currently M1 is making a name for itself but Microsoft is now working on new amd improved ARM chips for windows.

Any AMD chips HP laptop this year?
Also, if a laptop has 5G connection, does that mean I must pay a monthly phone bill for it to work?

    • Luka Doncic

      January 11, 2021 at 4:11 pm

you need to get a SIM card with a data plan from a service provider to use 5G network for internet. who knows maybe AT&T or Verizon will offer this laptop at $0 upfront with $100 monthly payments.

    • pnp072000
