    • William Wightman

      May 4, 2021 at 7:20 am

For the fourth AirTag maybe try a torture wheel that spins and has a hair dryer going, nails that it hits, water that it dunks in, etc or ask a friend to hide it a few miles away and test the Find My network. Just some ideas. Great Video!

    • Stefan Borisov

      May 4, 2021 at 5:06 pm

Ask somebody to hide it, far away, in another neighborhood for example, and see how long it takes for apples “find my” network to find it. And you can still do another test after that.

Heat test in a car. I think some people will leave an AirTag in their car to help them find where they parked.

Toaster test. Drop it from a tall building. Have someone swallow it and see if you can track them down in a city centre. Use a powerful magnet ????. Conceal one inside the frame of a bike, lock it up somewhere. someone will steal it. Then track them down and recover the bike.

I don’t remember anybody doing all these extreme tests with tile tracker or the Samsung smart tag. Goes on to show why/how nobody cares about tile or Samsung. Seems like only Apple has the power to define a product category. Great!
