Ai is not going to make me buy 2 pizzas instead of 1. It’s not going to make me buy another car. It’s not going to increase salaries so how do they expect people to spend more.
Where will all this new revenues be coming from. Who has all this excess money available to spend more and more

*Ai is not going to make me buy 2 pizzas instead of 1* – it could make that 1 pizza more profitable by driving costs down, which could drive the price of 2 pizzas to 1, same with cars.

*It’s not going to increase salaries so how do they expect people to spend more* ? – what if the price of everything goes down so much we don’t need an increase ? Many of the things we take for granted were too expensive for common people before the industrial revolution.

*Where will all this new revenues be coming from. Who has all this excess money available to spend more and more ?* – Where did all the increases in revenue come from the industrial revolution that replaced so much human labour. New forms of Occupation !

@joefreeman3772😂😂You do realize that cheaper pizza doesn’t mean I buy more pizza. My stomach won’t allow it. That will mean even less revenue for the broker. Commission is a percentage of price so where is the estimated extra revenue coming from.
About the new jobs AI will create. If the salaries from these new jobs are not higher than the current jobs, then most people will still have very little disposable income for the extra spend on Ai.
If Ai is going to be deflationary, then where will all those lofty expected revenues be coming from.
      Kinda confusing 😢

@kwektansthey said the same about the industrial revolution and most likely said the same about the Agricultural revolution “What will happen to the Hunters and the Gatherers?”

Don’t forget some retail investors may be liquidating holdings this week to buy Anthropic IPO shares.

An AI search also costs Google more to run than a traditional non-AI search.

The market can afford 500 more billionaires, but that investment is pooled into one company’s one day loss. Nothing efficient about it.
