lol I don’t think you’re supposed like it, it’s meant to help you find it, higher pitch easier to hear when its covered up by something

    The difference is almost negligible.

      Look up how decibels work

    • @DipperDK

      January 31, 2026 at 4:05 am

“Actually” 😅 The nerdy and correct answer is: the decibel scale is logarithmic, not linear. In psychoacoustics (the study of how humans perceive sound), a 10 dB increase is generally heard as a doubling of loudness. Since the difference here is 10.2 dB, the new AirTag sounds more than twice as loud as the old one to the human ear.

    • @DipperDK

      January 31, 2026 at 1:26 pm

Side note: I actually thought a 4 dB increase was a doubling, but here are the general rules used in audio:

      - Sound Energy (Physics): Every 3 dB increase doubles the actual sound power.

      – Perceived Loudness (What we hear): It takes a ~10 dB increase for the human ear to perceive the sound as being twice as loud.

From its dual-camera design to its cutting-edge sensor tech and wider dynamic range, DJI’s Pocket 4P comes with a range of upgrades that make this the ultimate handheld gimbal camera for pro creators wanting to travel light.

Starting at £529 in the UK, it’s not actually that much more expensive than the base Pocket 4 at £445 and the Osmo Pocket 3, which started at £519. But there’s a catch…it’s not officially sold in the U.S.

Unbox it with us and let’s take it out on the street of Paris. #dji #unboxing #vlogging #osmopocket #osmopocket4p
