Turtle needs a laser upgrade module. Turtles with frickin’ lasers on their heads.

      January 17, 2026 at 7:36 pm

@zivzulanderto be fair, it probably has a few lasers all over for things like distance and proximity measuring.

I thought it was a sea turtle with speakers for pool parties. But helping the ocean is good too.

    January 17, 2026 at 11:38 pm

Okay, this has to be some stupid rich kind of money to be buying this

  12. @kucheriya1

    January 18, 2026 at 12:15 am

Good intentions don’t guarantee good results, this might be prime example. 😅

  13. @nuratek2486

    January 18, 2026 at 1:13 am

    Isn’t it dangerous to predators.

  14. @Makeitcount-ik7sd

    January 18, 2026 at 1:34 am

    Now make it a shark

  15. @michaelseabrooks9286

    January 18, 2026 at 2:31 am

And what to do when its attacked by an animal and its shattered to pieces?

  16. @torack589

    January 18, 2026 at 2:43 am

Ok how dumb is this why make it look like a snack! I need to call 📞 Shark Angels! 😊

  17. @Erago77

    January 18, 2026 at 2:45 am

he swim in the ocean? In a shape of a sea turtle? Hmm orcas? Sharks? What do you think they’ll do with them if they find them? Toy or chew toy? Or a shark gulp them down?

  18. @tyrone751

    January 18, 2026 at 4:30 am

Ive had these since i was 6

  19. @Tapsfan-q2v

    January 18, 2026 at 5:32 am

I am “generally” not a fan of robots (giving myself some wiggle room here)..😅
HOWEVER,, if this sea turtle robot will help to eventually clean up our oceans I’m definitely for it. What I worry about is technology getting so out of hand, which it’s now doing, that people are losing their livelihoods.

  20. @Permiton

    January 18, 2026 at 5:39 am

Watch it get stuck on plastic rings

  21. @isaacdebrah3963

    January 18, 2026 at 6:24 am

    Lets make an aquarium

  22. @mr__matrix

    January 18, 2026 at 7:22 am

Looks like an animal ≠ less disruptive.

In fact if anything it would probably end up being more disruptive messing with other animal behaviours.

  23. @ApeOn-f7r

    January 18, 2026 at 7:40 am

    🎉🎉🎉

  24. @zero11010

    January 18, 2026 at 2:24 pm

I can’t imagine what will see, hear, and smell this robot .. and say, “no, it’s shaped like a turtle … that’s one of us.”

Making this look like a turtle is for human benefit. Making it look more abstract to get the job done likely wouldn’t change how wildlife reacts to this.

  25. @jeremythehusky379

    January 18, 2026 at 2:29 pm

and it only cost the lives of 3 turtles to make it

  26. @xxxhoodooxxx

    January 18, 2026 at 5:36 pm

I think it will get assaulted by male turtles, chewed on by sharks and barnacles will cover that solar panel within months.

  27. @craiglatta31062

    January 18, 2026 at 7:15 pm

How soon after it goes in the ocean before Tiger sharks bite its flippers and head off?

  28. @joelcane4698

    January 19, 2026 at 4:42 pm

What if a shark tries to eat it
