I just got a new TV, and was able to set my homepods to be the TV speakers even when not using Apple TV, even though I had to change some settings IN Apple TV to enable it.

Have you figured out a way for your Apple TV to show your Google photos as your screensaver?

  9. @DKZAudio

    December 5, 2025 at 12:25 pm

Literally, 4 days ago, I turned on my TCL Roku TV. I was “greeted” by a full screen user terms and agreement update, it could not be skipped or bypassed. I read it. In order for me (owner and payment provider for said tv) to continue using my tv from this point forward, I am required to agree to content tracking. I think about it. I decide to accept because, well I only use my Apple TV as an input device, but how long until they can monitor the inputs and what is actually on the screen?

    • @BridgetCarey

      December 5, 2025 at 2:32 pm

Gah I’m sorry. I refuse to connect my LG TV to the Internet and it keeps asking me to update the software but I never will.

I enjoy your content. Thank you very much.

Did Apple pay you guys too make this?

My Apple speakers were set as AirPlay to default speakers for the last seven years. What are you talking about Willis? I’m not even sure why I’m listening to this.

    • @BridgetCarey

      December 5, 2025 at 2:30 pm

It worked consistently for things like HomePods but some folks found that their other speakers kept needing to be reset as the main speaker.

  13. @michael-4k4000

    December 5, 2025 at 1:12 pm

OK again Apple TV has been able to connect PlayStation controllers or Xbox controllers or other brands for years now many many years. These are not new functions new features. Nothing’s new here go away. Nothing to sit here.

  16. @GoogleVideoMan

    December 5, 2025 at 2:14 pm

My favorite thing about Apple TV is how on the home page in watch history I have all of my shows from every streaming service lined up. It makes it super convenient to keep up with everything I’m watching.

I knew Bridget wasn’t going to put a case on her phone! I bet she didn’t install a screen protector, either! Don’t drop your phone, Bridget! Oh, and I think the Apple TV device is as good as Christmas fudge!

  26. @ninjanerdstudent6937

    December 5, 2025 at 8:57 pm

My TV streaming box is called a Mac. It stays plugged in to power, Wi-Fi, and HDMI at all times. It currently has 2.25 TB of storage on it as two SSDs. It contains all the movies, music, and photos that I could possibly want on it. I am not sure what I would possibly do with this Apple tvos box, which seems rather pointless.

  27. @ashdjones

Fire TV Cube vs Apple TV? Can the Apple TV act as a remote and switch my inputs on my receiver?

  34. @phillipp1399

Choose an album or shared album for your screen saver if you don’t want random images coming up
