Matt was being his usual humble self with Dunamancy. What is it? I don’t know, just an entirely new practice of magic that Matt created for Exandria, which in turn adds it to DND Multiverse at large. Hold it by the top corner so your fingers pull it into rotation, rather than trying to push it.
The way you held the card, moving through the air makes it flop to the side instead of holding it straight.
Hopefully someone (Matt) showed you how it’s done if you were interested.

The answers underneath were a bit uncalled for, not writing what they said. They’re going to have to change a lot in the animated vs the campaign, it makes sense they don’t want to spoil things they may not have figured out or had to change. The answers underneath are based on the campaign while they’re there to promote the animated show coming out… It’s gonna be confusing as heck for anyone who didn’t watch it long form. This video is fun to watch but they really should have figured out before filming and posting this what their stance on spoilers is and whether the questions are referring to the campaign or the TV Show.
If this is intended to promote the show to new audiences then Wired should have made an effort to avoid major spoilers instead of just displaying them there on the screen.
