The first time i saw him was in Nicholas Nickleby. Years later a saw Sons of Anarchy and thought, “Where have I seen this guy before?” There was a scene in SOA where he was very angry and being very stern, which reminded me of NN when he confronted his uncle about how his uncle had mistreated his sister. Then it clicked. I had fun showing my brother (a huge SOA fan who had not seen NN) the earlier movie and trying to get him to guess that the sweet, gentle English youth was badass Jax Teller! To this day, when he sees CH in something, if he doesn’t like something the character has done, my brother calls him Nickleby in disgust. 😂
