Are you f-ing kidding? Palm oil is bad enough but now you want to make literal garbage oil? 😀 Whats next burger patties from “human waste” ? Just because something can be done doesn’t mean it should be done… If it’s safe to eat doesn’t mean it’s good for you also…

    September 7, 2025 at 8:37 am

Next they will try to make food from the dead called zombi oil.

the palm trees generate oxygen and continuously produce palm fruits for 30 years without the need of constant processing in lab and factories.

we literally have a tree tha produces oil and the non profiting countries and big companies are saying “no we should choose oil made from factories instead of natural trees”

As always, it’s the wealthy who are ruining everything. There’s natural and more sustainable processes, but they’d rather pollute and destroy the ecology because it’s profitable for them.

They will give it a name that you can’t pronounce and before you know it, you’re putting it in your body, if not already.

I don’t usually comment, but does he think that we are stupid? I am okay with recycling food instead of
    expensive bioengineering, there are
practical, cheaper, and natural ways to
cycle food waste back into useful stuff

Pigs should be treated better. Farmers never let them outside. At least cattle and sheep have some semblance of an outdoor experience.

  30. @ericlotze7724

“Made from Garbage” is some VERY bad framing. “Palm Oil Substitute from Precision Fermentation” is a better tile that doesn’t make this seem like landfill juice.

This can be like bad looking fruit gets made into a mush then fermented, not LANDFILL B-Roll…oml people.

  31. @ericlotze7724

    September 8, 2025 at 12:30 am

VERY cool tech but the framing around this is gonna scare people. Bummer, hope it is either successful despite my pessemism, or they Open Source the gene mods/protocols.

Esst das Zeug selber, wenn ihr Krebs bekommen wollt!

You will eat bugs. You will eat garbage. You will own nothing and you’ll be happy.

Wow, and I thought that only career politicians could be made from garbage!
