    A. I., ( ‘artificial intelligence’ ), as far as I’m concerned is a “boondoggle”. A lot of hype. “Fool’s gold”, ( for the moment ). For at least the last 30 years, we’ve all heard it was coming, and now it’s supposedly here at last. But, think about it folks, ( not pie in the sky, but just using your common sense )? If A. I. is as great as it’s been advertised, why is the spell-check function on our computers and cellphones still so clunky and primitive? Instead of correcting my spelling, quite often I end up in a wrestling match, struggling with the spell-check. The spellchecker cannot spell. And, wherever you live, why can’t A. I. regulate your community’s traffic lights, so that there’s never a back up? Just two examples of simple things that A. I. ought to be able to do perfectly. So, spare me all the hype, please? There are lots of people in marketing, techs, and engineers, making money, ( prematurely ), off of the HYPE of artificial intelligence… Give me a break!!

Yeah, I guess it’s like how the discovery of fuel went. It’s primitive at first, but with imagination and ingenuity, we can progress the tech to transform our society. That being said, we have wayyyyyyy more important things to be focusing on. That’s where I see the red flags. How are we going to invest into progressing this, meanwhile the number of people starving is increasing. It makes no sense, except for wealthy corps.

What’s unique about AI is that, unlike Big Data for example, we have tech-ignorant awestruck leaders willing to give the AI Industry (whatever that is) hard-earned taxpayer dollars. America’s business “leaders” are not capitalists, if they were they’d fund their own big ideas.

    • @MrCenterofgravity

      July 23, 2025 at 7:51 pm

@@robertdavis1836yup, and most importantly removing any sort of regulation. That’s how these tech companies became our overlords in the first place

I usually go with registered representative; Adviser Donald Scott Rykert, he provides, daily entry signals, insights and a more grounded approach, looking at factors like market demand, regulatory changes, and adoption trends. This approach enable to make informed decisions rather than solely relying on emotional market dynamics.

Since i ventured into trading with him it has really transformed my life. Imagine investing $50,000 within some couple of weeks it increased to $696,800 it might not be a fortune, but this is a significant improvement.

I’ll sum up the “tRump AI Action Plan” without even hearing what it is… tRump is going to let the tech billionaires do whatever they want, unregulated, as long as they give him a cut and flatter his pweshus little ego.

  17. @BitBlink

    July 23, 2025 at 6:09 pm

Jacob Helberg is a strong Zionist Jewish gay man who was raised in Europe. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree. He used to donate to Democratic causes, but became one of Trump’s biggest 2024 campaign donors, which in turn got him a job with the Department of State. He is extremely pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian. He has not condemned the actions of Israel in this war and only laments about the growing antisemitism within the Democratic Party, which is mostly anti-Israeli government and specifically Netanyahu.
