Very helpful tips.
But I often have the fear that when I want to encourage others to tell me something about themselves, my questions are too private, and I’m crossing a line.
just like when I have to tell something about myself, what can I tell and what is better only when we know each other better.

Thank you for watching and for your thoughtful question. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way – finding the right balance between curiosity and respecting boundaries is key to building meaningful connections.
One approach is to start with open-ended but non-intrusive questions. Instead of asking something deeply personal right away, try questions like:
“What’s something you’re excited about right now?” or “What led you to [industry, event, shared interest]?”
These types of questions give people space to share as much or as little as they feel comfortable with, and they naturally create opportunities for deeper conversations over time.
When sharing about yourself, a good rule of thumb is to mirror the level of openness that the other person is comfortable with. Think of it as a gradual exchange – connections grow stronger as trust builds.
I hope this helps!
