Are they better than Apple’s AirPods Pro 2? CNET editor David Carnoy says in some ways yes, in others no. Check out his full hands-on review.

I love the new looks, and I would getting one. However, I hope they have upgraded on a particular issue the first gen had. Which was the after about a 2 years of use, the left ear bud battery shots down at 50% and while the other one stays on. A lot of people had this issue. And i hope they have corrected it on this.

Hey David, what is your take on buying after market tips, so you could potentially enjoy the Powerbeats but use a tip that keeps them in an “odd sized” set of ear holes? 🙂

How does this compare to the Beats Fit Pro? I don’t like earhooks because I wear glasses though these are supposed to be better in that area. I’ve been running with the Beats Fit Pro for three years and they can slip out in very sweaty workouts. I wish the wings were customizable because they are slightly small for my ears. But they are better than anything else that I’ve tried. I also have weird-shaped ears where a lot of earbuds just fall out.

I have had a Beats Studio and older Power beats pro die on me shortly after the 1 year warranty expired. If I ever consider buying Beats again I would definitely get AppleCare with it.

How can anyone claim that these are the best when talking about something as subjective as sound quality? It’s like saying that our wife is the most beautiful. It doesn’t mean anything. Some will say that these headphones are the worst, others will say that they are the best, but the fact is that it makes no sense to say one or the other. Obviously, if you want to have a good relationship with your wife, it’s better to say that she is the most beautiful. And if you want companies to send you their new gadget, it’s better not to criticize them. I’m leaving you, I have to go and join my wife who, obviously, is the most beautiful.
