Im not buying this either. They need to bring it down to $500 or less. This is ridiculous. They charge a lot on the phone, they charge a lot on subscriptions, they use my data for advertisement. Not good.

      I got mine for 1350 ( fold 6 ) You don’t pay a subscription…

    Fold 7 yeah

If I were buying one of these I’d buy the pixel fold. I just wish Google would have a theme store like Samsung ???? that’s one reason I have to have a Samsung & pixel phone, I seriously love software on both. If Google ever did Themes I’d probably only use pixel phones.

Let’s see what next year brings. I’m now open between Zfold 7/Pixel 10 Pro Fold. That being said Samsung has usually good trades and I’m finding that Google Pro Fold is getting a nice price cut on my carrier (must not be popular).

If you’re into multitasking, the fold 6 is the way to go. I love this thing especially on football Sunday. I’ll have 1 app streaming the game, 1 app for my fantasy team and the 3rd app for anything else I want. Not sure why they limited the fold 2 to just 2 apps open at a time. Samsung ran an early black Friday deal, got the fold 6 512gb version for 1350$ ( no trade in required ) sold my old s23 for 450$ so I’m into the fold 6 for 900$

I’ve been using the Z Fold phone series since 2020 but switched to the Pixel 9 Fold this year and am loving it!

      November 24, 2024 at 1:27 pm

Same here, the Pixel makes me want to sure Samsung over the Z Fold. I have been through 4, Z folds

Google needs to stop using their tensor chip. Snapdragon and Apple chips blow it out of the water so no gamer will buy one. Folding phones can be a great option for gaming. Either that or make a more powerful option.

    Fold 6 wins

  13. @NadirMuthu

    November 24, 2024 at 2:14 pm

The Z Fold 6 SE, is the best. Shame it is not released internationally. Both these devices need more improvement when compared to OnePlus Open and Honor Magic V3

  14. @drrider100

    November 24, 2024 at 2:21 pm

I don’t see what everybody makes such a big deal about the crease. It’s a foldable, it’s going to be there. 98% of the time I don’t even notice it

  15. @c-power8393

    November 24, 2024 at 2:39 pm

Samsung makes better hardware. But Google have the best software when it comes to Andriod.

    • @rahullulay

      November 25, 2024 at 9:48 am

Tried it man cant even get rid of the search bar. Cant set different screen layouts it just feels like a blown up 9 P XL. Yeah the outer screen size is nice but the software does not offer any quality of life improvements compared to Sammy. Charging on the Pixel fold is slow af.They both need bigger batteries imo.

  16. @aguidry4196

    November 24, 2024 at 2:55 pm

@cnet you did not mention DEX on the Z Fold. That is a huge feature to get the Z Fold over a Pixel if you want to use your device with peripherals or more like a computer replacement

  17. @morm2173

    November 24, 2024 at 3:36 pm

The w25 has a better design, just wish it had stylus support on both screens while thin like Honor

    • @Markus56165

      November 24, 2024 at 8:41 pm

The SE and w25 have insane pricing.

  18. @jlaczek1127

    November 24, 2024 at 4:37 pm

That’s a great video, however I am an iPhone user not into foldable phones.

  19. @Raymondlopez3Dee

    November 24, 2024 at 4:55 pm

I’m going with the Google and here’s why. I’ve had the Fold 6 and it was cool but the main reason I moved to Google is because the Fold’s battery started getting hot like the phone was going to overheat.

    • @JZF629

      November 24, 2024 at 7:27 pm

I’ve heard this is such an issue that the phone won’t even open apps sometimes, and even worse this happens without any sort of real use. Also the phone has had the exact same cameras inside over the past THREE YEARS.

      Big no thank you

    • @iMrParker

      November 24, 2024 at 11:40 pm

      Definitely sounds defective

  20. @nickthaskater

    November 24, 2024 at 4:59 pm

How do you have a section on software without mentioning, let alone illustrating, the drastic difference in how the two devices handle multitasking? You mention you’re waiting for a compelling reason to buy a foldable – that’s literally it. Being able to have multiple floating windows and up to 3 apps docked alongside each other, not to mention a more useful taskbar, put the Z Fold on another planet compared to the P9 Fold.

  21. @keng8883

    November 24, 2024 at 5:22 pm

I prefer Samsung, so it is the Fold6 for me. Hoping the Fold7 has a larger cover display and a macro + zoom lens.

  22. @donniethesportsguy893

    November 24, 2024 at 5:59 pm

No smart techy would pay $1800. Galaxy best value due to trade in. Buy an old second hand phone and actually make money on it via trade in effectively getting this for 1300 ish

    • @Markus56165

      November 24, 2024 at 8:40 pm

I bought a S10e from Amazon for $130 and T-Mobile gave me $1000 off my Pixel 9 Pro Fold. So if you’re comparing getting devices directly from the manufacturer, you’re right. If you’re talking about carrier trade-ins, you’re wrong.

    • @donniethesportsguy893

      November 24, 2024 at 9:05 pm

@Markus56165  i dont mess with dumb carrier bill credits. Credit card paid in full with Samsung direct and trade in. Ex. Got a note 20 ultra on offer up for 200 and got 900 trade in from Samsung. Effectively surplus of 700 towards the phone.

    • @Markus56165

      November 24, 2024 at 9:43 pm

@donniethesportsguy893  yeah, I’ve also done trade-ins with Samsung for years. I traded in a Pixel 8 Pro and got $800 off the Z Fold 6 and traded in an iPad Pro Gen 6 and got a total of $800 off the Tab S10 Ultra with the pre-order deal. Just this year, alone. I usually buy at least 2-3 phones per year between myself, my family, and my additional work line.

    • @Markus56165

      November 24, 2024 at 10:48 pm

@@donniethesportsguy893 there’s nothing dumb about trading in a phone that Samsung would give me $50-$100 dollars for and instead getting $1000 off from a carrier. Many people would rather not either pay an interest rate or pay off the remaining balance up front, versus paying 0% over 2yrs. #1 it’s more convenient for most. #2 saying you “don’t mess with dumb carrier bill credits” sounds extremely elitist and pompous ????

    • @donniethesportsguy893

      November 24, 2024 at 10:51 pm

@ we’re saying the same thing here lol

Pixcel 9 fold white is Sold-out

  24. @Raymondlopez3Dee

    November 24, 2024 at 7:39 pm

Exactly and that’s why I made the move to Google because Samsung is just doing the same ol thing so until they make a change I’ll be with Google.

  25. @la3692

    November 24, 2024 at 8:13 pm

Just get the wider screen Samsung fold SE best software best cameras on any folding phone????

    • @la3692

      November 24, 2024 at 8:13 pm

And the z-fold 6 SE has no crease in the middle????

  26. @rosariodagosto6484

both made from plastic etc good for door stopers

  27. @dangcucu

    November 24, 2024 at 10:04 pm

Samsung & Google ALWAYS have marked down sales like right now. Black Friday

  28. @johnszatkowski6898

    November 24, 2024 at 11:02 pm

If you know anything about Samsung’s ONE UI you will find that you can tweak and customize every aspect of the phone with the added Good-Lock suite. I however, am NOT a fan of ant “foldable” phone at this stage in the game. They are just too fragile and easily damaged, and are not “rugged” enough for day-to-day life in the real world that I live in.

  29. @karni60

    November 25, 2024 at 12:17 am

No Apple ecosystem people!! You’re not allowed to buy one of these no matter how cool it looks. Tim said NO!

Great content, as always! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

I have never used my pixel fold in the half good position. Never

  34. @Dr.Elzeiny-Samsung

    November 25, 2024 at 6:14 am

You better make the comparison between Fold SE or W25 Vs Pixel 9 Pro Fold

  35. @donjanowski3742

    November 25, 2024 at 6:21 am

I wont go back to a regular phone. So no, not a rip off. I had 2 Samsung folds, and never used the outer screen. Ever. Google is so much better. Yay, can hold Samsung’s skinny screen better, but can’t type on it cuz the keyboard is so tiny. I feel ripped off by samsung.

  36. @edreesakhonzadeh4660

    November 25, 2024 at 6:53 am

The pixel is a rip off compare to z fold considering mid range chip. I dont know how she makes it sound like they’re almost same.

  37. @tiburonroano

    Watching on a Fold6

  38. @jamesleesley

I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a foldable Pixel phone.

    Should I buy both?
