Nice comparison. I don’t understand why Samsung watches move backwards in some aspects (no rotating bezel, no reverse wireless charging, worse battery life compared to Tizen)..
Btw never heard about AGEs in my life but simply going by the colors low seems to bee good (green) and high should be bad (red) 🤷‍♂ The last sentence of the explainer also reads “AGEs accumulate as you get older” meaning they increase with age so the lower it is the “younger”/”fitter” you are.

Rotating Bezel is for “Watch Classic” Line-up
No reversed wireless charging because of the new Sensor Layout. But I think future samsung smartwatches will support it again
      You’re right about battery life

@aldwin360  yes these are just the marketing excuses but for me it’s hard to believe any of this. For example it has been shown that the new watches briefly charge on phones but the standard bands push the watch up and disconnect it so with a bit more engineering it could have been possible they were just too lazy to put in the work and decided to scrap the feature instead.

No, thank you. I have a watch as a feature on my phone.

Yeah, it’s a luxury. But this comparison is for those that can afford it and/or find useful features in them

Pixel watch looks great but hard to not get a galaxy watch when it can often be had for a quarter of the price

Just upgraded from my Galaxy Watch 4 to the 7 (Wifi/BT, 44mm) with trade-in and literally only paid $50 shipped through Samsung online. Watch is great so far, definitely the best choice.

Sapphire = No need of a screen protector.
Glass, no matter what will get scratched up. That Pixel watch’s curved display means that the screen protector will come off easily.

    • @MrLastwated

      November 4, 2024 at 10:23 am

For the amount of money these things cost, it’s frustrating for them not to go with sapphire. Ag this point I won’t even buy a analog watch that doesn’t have sapphire

    • @omonighoprogressoghenetejiri

      November 4, 2024 at 4:13 pm

@@MrLastwatedit’s probably cause of the curved display

I use my watch to listen to podcasts without my phone on me. I can usually get a day of battery life but two would be nice.

I have both watches, the larger size at home. I only use the Pixel watch 3 45mm version with my Pixel 9 Pro. Not a fan of Fitbit premium. It’s too overpriced for me. I use workouts from other Apps. Like Peloton( I use the guide), Mossa On Demand, Fiit or Fiton. I love the design of the Pixel Watch a little bit more. I also prefer the Pixel Watch bracelets. Better design, more comfortable for me.
    Both watches are great.
Thanks for a nice video ❤.
    Greetings from Germany 😊😊.

I have the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Pixel Watch 3 (45m). They are both really great, but I find that I prefer the Galaxy Watch Ultra for its more rugged design and build quality. The Pixel Watch 3 is super comfortable to wear, but it feels fragile, especially in the gym. I also prefer some of the features of Samsung Health, like being able to easily string together workouts, as well as create entire workout programs (Pixel Watch only lets you do this for running workouts). Overall though, its just nice to have multiple great options on Android nowadays.

    Samsung Watch 7 for me❤❤.
    Great video

  13. @philforde5871

    November 4, 2024 at 1:38 pm

I prefer and own the Galaxy watch partly because it is more robust, and having scratches on a watch screen is very annoying. That alone puts me off the Pixel watch.

    November 4, 2024 at 2:39 pm

Samsungs watchfaces are very disappointing so lackluster & basic compared to the Pixels. First thing i do with my samsung watch is spend hours looking for a good watchface on the play store.

  15. @enzogentile2891

    November 4, 2024 at 3:17 pm

For the Samsung to unlock all the functions you have to just buy a Galaxy Phone

  16. @redrover508

    November 4, 2024 at 4:48 pm

For me it’s the galaxy watch i ordered the wife a watch 7 44mm with a old fitbit versa 2 trade in and Samsung gave me 100 bucks for the trade in the watch total was 240 for the lte the pixel was over 400 bucks and the trade in for the fitbit was only 30 bucks wtf.. That’s with Google owning fitbit

Can you please review the Huawei Watch GT 5 series. It is giving mr close to a week of battery life! Huawei doesnt mention about the base of the Harmony os and chip its running on, if possible can check it?

  21. @EvertonAbreuCorrea

I think the main issue of the galaxy watch is that the heart sensor is not so accurate… I end-up buying a Pixel because of this.

  22. @ChadH2023

    November 5, 2024 at 12:34 am

I just don’t understand the want or need for a smart watches. Maybe runners who stream music to their earbuds.

    • @raxiltude

      November 5, 2024 at 4:21 pm

They come in handy if you want to check on notifications from your phone instead of getting your phone out if you are in a place, Where you wouldn’t need to get your phone out.

    • @ChadH2023

      November 5, 2024 at 4:24 pm

@raxiltude  It still seems kind of pointless to have two devices that do the same exact thing. The smartwatch doesn’t really saw the problem if you have your phone with you anyway.

  23. @nicholasl7858

    November 5, 2024 at 4:47 am

I don’t know if anybody mentioned this, but the Pixel Watch 3 and the Pixel Watch 2 (original size) have identically the same specs, so if you want to save money, get the Pixel Watch 2.

  24. @josephpiskac2781

I have a Fitbit Charge 4, which has been problematic to say the least and Fitbit support is a joke, but that could all be different with the Pixel Watch. What is the same, though, is keeping important data about YOUR health behind a paywall, and a steep one at that, which I find ludicrous. That’s why I will never get a Fitbit/Pixel watch; literally every other competitor gives you full access to your health data subscription-free.
