The summary of phone calls is the highlight of the bunch for me, followed by the writing tools.

1:21 You can change how many lines of preview it’ll show under settings—>mail—>preview. Not sure if it’ll summarize more and show you more, but you can make that space larger.

i just got it a few hours ago. have not used it yet, packing for 2 weeks in the caribbean ill play with it on the plane.

Great review, really focused with no unnecessary fluff. Thanks

Can it call my local pizza shop and order a pizza for me? Can it call my doctor and make a general checkup appointment for me that works with my schedule and preferences? Can it call my friend and check up on him / her?

    October 28, 2024 at 7:22 pm

Yo? 😂😂😂😂 Samsung this is not 2014

    October 28, 2024 at 7:25 pm

When we can have call screening ?? It’s important!!! Apple, please !

  8. @maxandrewyeah

    October 28, 2024 at 7:26 pm

    “Dot 1” sounds really strange

  9. @AlirezaHeidari-d2u

    October 28, 2024 at 7:29 pm

I have updated to iOS 18.1 but there is no apple intelligence option 😩

  10. @DanielAguilar777

    October 28, 2024 at 7:29 pm

I update but It’s not showing

  11. @drrider100

    October 28, 2024 at 7:38 pm

Add “totally” to an AI sentence and its declared lightyears better than competitors.

  12. @fp-fuddersmuckers

    October 28, 2024 at 7:39 pm

I didn’t like that this version is a JOKE. Make AI only available to those who have the latest iPhone. 🤷‍♂️

  13. @samuelmarndi

    October 28, 2024 at 7:54 pm

    Apple just playing catch-up. 😅

  14. @pissbabygrandad

    October 28, 2024 at 8:02 pm

I don’t believe in using AI to edit photos. It’s disingenuous.

  15. @i3lia7mad

    October 28, 2024 at 8:18 pm

7:44 As a Brit, this is the weirdest pronunciation of Edinburgh I’ve ever heard.

  16. @jasonp.edouard2307

    October 28, 2024 at 8:19 pm

Apple intelligent is awesome on my iPhone 15 Pro max. Everything is fast and smooth. No need to upgrade for me 😂.

  17. @U23721

    October 28, 2024 at 8:19 pm

I can’t really tell a difference between Siri’s responses now vs. before. Almost everything I tried just returned a website result. Like its no different than just searching in google, couldn’t even dictate anything back.

  18. @TheGurpreett

    October 28, 2024 at 8:24 pm

shitiest company ever making people to buy newer phone instead of bringing a software implementation to every iphone its not an hardware feature specific time to switch to an android
i have 14pm paid 1800$ and software apple intelligence is not available…

  19. @57pjb

    October 28, 2024 at 8:26 pm

AI is not exciting for my phone.

  20. @midtech168

    October 28, 2024 at 8:36 pm

I’m in a weird boat with Apple Intelligence. I have an M2 iPad Pro, an M3 MBP which supports Apple Intelligence. But my iPhone 13 pro, what I use the most in the day, doesn’t have it. Maybe I can summarize phone notifications on the Mac.

  21. @Aflatus

    October 28, 2024 at 8:42 pm

I have the 15 pro and updated to 18.1. I don’t have the glowing boarder nor message summary to name a couple of things that were mentioned in this video

  22. @PeterQuistgard

    October 28, 2024 at 8:50 pm

Tbh this feels really underwhelming…but it’s because they allowed Siri to become soooooo outdated and clunky, anything is an improvement. But it;s not a chat bot yet. Should be if they want to compete

  23. @handlewithoutcare

    October 28, 2024 at 9:05 pm

2:33 neither samsung nor apple personalize it to our speaking style yet, so whether you use totally or yo is a conincedence. Stop sucking up to apple just because you are reviewing their launch. Also, casual and friendly are two different categories. Casual is more chill, friendly is more polite.

    • @handlewithoutcare

      October 28, 2024 at 9:11 pm

7:04 also why didn’t you compare photo editing skills and generative fill of galaxy AI and apple Ai? The former is leagues ahead

  24. @lilchad_hd

    October 28, 2024 at 9:12 pm

So why didn’t she scroll down to social??

  25. @jasonyu-gi-oh1056

    Lol

  26. @dennishofke

    October 29, 2024 at 7:53 am

I honestly consider going back to using a nokia brick instead of a smartphone if in the future each phone will ship with these features.

  27. @tyyohr1841

    October 29, 2024 at 8:04 am

I left iOS for this year trying out Google pixel 9 pro XL and if the leaks are true for iPhone 17 and the camera bar is horizontal and get rid of that awful pill cut out I’ll jump back in

  28. @ACCTYYY

    October 29, 2024 at 8:59 am

Is the new Siri feature also on the Iphone 13?

    • @source1982

      October 29, 2024 at 11:22 am

sadly no, all the Ai features are on the 15 pro and later

    • @ACCTYYY

      October 29, 2024 at 1:32 pm

@@source1982 Aw okay, well thanks for letting me know.

    October 29, 2024 at 9:09 am

I wonder if it’s coming to Apple Watch as well since it’s on Apple CarPlay also but I am having trouble with deleting emails after I delete them they come back and even if I blocked them they show up still

  30. @laurenmarie9332

    October 29, 2024 at 9:51 am

    I don’t see a priority section 🤷‍♀️

  31. @stephanvds5833

    October 29, 2024 at 10:04 am

You just can tap the glowing objects in the cleanup feature in photos

  32. @sarid246

    October 29, 2024 at 10:39 am

Apple intelligence is awesome…used it during beta program

  33. @KushalChachan

    October 29, 2024 at 11:08 am

In the text message example, Samsung’s message is for the bros casual, iphone is for the sisters

  34. @hamburglar83

    October 29, 2024 at 11:31 am

On my iPad it’s just SIRI. It’s very very very meh.

Apple Intelligence The feature they keep pushing that no one cares for 😂

Great video Lisa. I especially liked the comparison b/n the iPhone and Galaxy!

  39. @muhammadarslanaslam8474

    October 29, 2024 at 12:38 pm

    totally biased review
message typed on Samsung and iphone was different.
False test: siri answers correctly when i say something wrong. you immediately corrected it

  40. @davidleeashkenazi8992

    October 29, 2024 at 12:40 pm

Dude, it’s like totally don’t deserve an upgrade bro!1 🤙🏻🤌🏻✌🏻

  41. @peterring2714

    October 29, 2024 at 1:02 pm

Absolutely nothing available in the EU. I knew we couldn’t get much but I had at least expected the new Photos clean up tool and maybe screen border illumination for Siri but nada.

  42. @imagina-toon

    October 29, 2024 at 1:49 pm

6:39 instead of drawing a circle around the object, just draw on it. 😉

  46. @centre_stage5599

    October 29, 2024 at 4:15 pm

Am I the only one who is obsessed with that rainbow AI glow , it’s so nice

  47. @tiburonroano

    October 29, 2024 at 5:00 pm

AI is coming to Apple but they should focus on Siri before making Siri do more.

  48. @michaelrodriguez2919

    October 29, 2024 at 5:16 pm

Apple Intelligence is not so intelligent at the moment. Not a fan right now.

  49. @sobombeh

    October 29, 2024 at 7:01 pm

I wish the call recording was an actual voice recording because if someone needed it as proof one day or something the text would be useless because anyone can draft that up so dont really see the point
