Vr, regardless of how ‘fun’ it looks, the tech just isn’t there yet unfortunately. Another 10 yrs and I think it’ll be at a state of ‘this is good and will only get better’

VR currently of this writing is actually really fun depending on the games. It is 10x more entertaining than flatscreen with the similar or same type of game. The tech is more advance than anything else

A game where the player is controlling a robot (mech) would perhaps feels less awkward.
Because it’s an unnatural way to walk, the brain would refuse to accept that we’re walking. But if we think we’re controlling a robot then we would expect unnatural feeling, thus the brain may accept it better.
