Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 is an absolutely great phone, but it’s hard to appreciate with its $1,100 price. Samsung’s latest clamshell-style foldable has a new 50-megapixel main camera finally putting it on par with other premium phone cameras. The hinge is smaller and helps reduce the screen crease. It has a new chip, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and 12GB of RAM. There’s even a larger battery. For all intents and purposes, the new Z Flip 6 is a Galaxy S24 that can fold in half — which is fantastic.

I’ll never use a flip phone…only because it does get old having to flip it open every time I’m gonna use it. Phone looks great but I just can’t lol

      July 24, 2024 at 10:02 am

You can leave it open if youd like.

@@OD210 that would be stupid lol

Do you think the lcd or screen will have a problem or not? Because the z flip that is below 6 on average has problems on the screen and to replace the screen is quite expensive as well as the price of a new cellphone

  3. @ljacobs357

    July 24, 2024 at 9:59 am

The list price is not as relevant as the trade-in offers, at least in the US.

if you are paying $1100 for a phone, might as well just get the top dog s24U, or even an ip15PM… flips are not the future, Folds are!

Lol no one is gonna be embarrassed by language translate. That’s such an odd way of thinking, if anyone should be embarrassed its the person traveling who can’t speak the native language shoving a phone in some busy employees face just to order a coffee instead of just typing the sentence you want to say and attempting to speak to them

  6. @mikeyellis4702

    July 24, 2024 at 10:44 am

The same people complaining it is expensive are the same ones complaining it didn’t have enough tech in it last year ????

I movdd from the flip to the razr+ and couldnt be happier. Its so nice actually having a usable front screen for all my apps.

Preorder deals and trade ins made this too affordable to pass up as an upgrade from Flip 4

    • @KAST403

      July 24, 2024 at 6:52 pm

Yeah I only had to pay $15 for mine

Got great trade in for my Pixel 8. Awesome phone. Exceeded my high standards. Well done Samsung.

    July 24, 2024 at 1:10 pm

With discounts and trade in, I got the upgraded 512gb version ($1200) for less than $500. So price was definitely not a factor. Loving the phone so far. Motorola Razr might have better aesthetics and a bigger cover screen, but I’d rather have the better build quality and peace of mind of the Samsung any day.

      July 24, 2024 at 8:03 pm

Moto wasnt even an option in my country.. That being said, I’ve never bought a brand new phone (Always bought 2 gens behind, so bought an s8 just after s10 launch) until last week. Insane deal popped up, flip 6 + watch 7 for 540 bucks, no trade-ins what so ever. And I almost bought a used flip 5 2 weeks earlier but backed out due to it having a defect on the screen… Luckily unlucky haha

I don’t really think its fair to stand firm on the 1100$ price tag when nobody is actually paying anywhere near that price, IMO.

Simultaneous translation using both screens is amazing and very attractive, but the translation itself is terrible and ruins everything. I think the winners in this unpacked are the Z flip 6 and the galaxy watch ultra (in white) but the rest of the devices seem more of the same to me, and the ring seems totally useless to me, as useless as the AI Pin or the Rabbit R1. I’ll stick with the z flip 6 and the galaxy watch ultra in white, I think it’s beautiful. And for the record, I’m an Apple Fanboy but I think Samsung got it right with those two, in my opinion, the rest can be thrown in the trash, especially the ring

  15. @SOHFTHLM

    July 24, 2024 at 1:13 pm

I’d consider this a flagship phone, so the price is justified

  16. @drawnhere

    July 24, 2024 at 1:19 pm

The trade-in deal thru AT&T is for a FREE Z FLIP 6, as long as you have the unlimited plan.

Same in Canada you can trade iPhone or Samsung and they basically are giving this away as well as a deep discount on there ultra watch must be nice to have a Sammy phone these days ❤

    July 24, 2024 at 5:15 pm

I love my Samsung z flip 4 and 5 I never had an issue for a year with each phone I’ll be upgrading for sure

  22. @hikalox

    July 24, 2024 at 6:04 pm

I think it would be a good idea to use the rear display for the translation function.

  23. @kyleray4952

    July 24, 2024 at 7:28 pm

Hey man i had the same speech issue as you when i was a kid with the exaggerated ‘ch’ sound. It’s an easy fix. Instead of making the sound against your molars make it against front top of your mouth. You’ll use the front top half of your tongue instead of the rear sides. I hope you weren’t teased like i was. Take care good video.
