Wow, this is just like an Apple product but for intelligent people

Lack of wifi streaming support is such an absurd miss for a Sonos product…

      May 21, 2024 at 5:45 pm

That was what I was waiting for. I thought it would be good to be able to group with the ecosystem.

Will you ppl please stop comparing everything to apple! Geezus! Xm5s and Bose are the top tier headphones….and you guys are comparing a pair of headphones with a toilet….why?

    • @richarddcrossley

      May 21, 2024 at 11:49 am

Dolby Atmos/spatial audio support for using them in place of a home theatre that’s why. I actually have an A95K so apparently you can get Atmos with XM5 but not the same as buying an Apple TV and using any TV. Best to know what you’re talking about next time. It’s also why many are so annoyed no WiFi option.

Why are headphones looking stupider and stupider? These are practically a helmet.

  5. @ivo_huth

    May 21, 2024 at 12:36 pm

Are they also controlled by their great, fantastic brand new app full of features? Or are they more like something you can put on your head to cancel ambient sound or listen to the weather forecast, and will playing music or so come in an update later this year?

  6. @MrInquisitive

    May 21, 2024 at 1:03 pm

Can you really trust Sonos after their most recent software release fiasco? They have demonstrated they really are a company that doesn’t care about customer service, and they are willing to remove features/functions at any time, for any reason, and couldn’t care less what the customer thinks. They are only chasing the next sale. Buyer beware.

  7. @Ray__E

    May 21, 2024 at 1:33 pm

Too expensive for what’s offered. There are much better options for this price point and cheaper

  8. @notnotjake

    May 21, 2024 at 1:38 pm

They look really cheap. Unfortunately the looks is very important to headphones and these aint it

Is there any way to turn off the anc completely?

  11. @mlwz1082

    May 21, 2024 at 2:32 pm

Is this limited to audio only from the Sonos App?

    • @jamethogany

      May 21, 2024 at 5:50 pm

No. They work like any Bluetooth headphones

    • @mlwz1082

      May 21, 2024 at 6:13 pm

@@jamethogany good, I was hearing that they operate like the Sonos system which is just dumb

I’ll be checking these out then

good, except of the ugly logo on one of the ears

  13. @MrAttagon

    May 21, 2024 at 2:49 pm

$449 ?? Better priced at $350 at most lol.

  14. @jackholt1265

    May 21, 2024 at 3:50 pm

So just one more “same as” looking pair of headphones in a (way) overcrowded mid-tier market. Someone line up all the competitors except AirPods Max and take a picture. Even Sennheiser caved to the flat, boring look. Nothing I’ve read suggests that people at the event who tested the audio quality were in any way blown away. I’m interested in the in-depth review, but fully expecting… go up market to the Focal Bathys at $699, or stick with the Sony WH’s.

  15. @SC2point0

    May 21, 2024 at 4:01 pm

Been looking to get a new pair of anc headphones, and these look promising. Looking forward to hearing how they sound. Hopefully they’ll be on display somewhere.

  16. @Nala_1230

    May 21, 2024 at 4:09 pm

after todays sonos app update they solved so many issues and they now added “add headphones” section… they waste no time LOL

  17. @silveriojohan

    May 21, 2024 at 4:30 pm

Bose copied 1000% by Apple, Sony, Sonos, the whole industry in every single product type related to audio…

Hey, I really like your profile and your posts, and if you let me, I would make such an amazing mural out of it! If you don’t mind one of your post could be my inspiring muse for an art project i’m working on for a client. You will totally get paid for it as well as a bonus also get credits.

  19. @csscott9803

Too pricey, you better off getting the Sony ULT headphones for a less price.

  20. @MichaelBolling-ed6io

    May 21, 2024 at 4:52 pm

Total miss to not integrate better (outside of HT) local Sonos system. Just another set of headphones, I have had Sonos for years many products, but this feels like a ‘meh’. For them to be an all day pair, also need Teams, Zoom etc. support.

      Hey Michael 😊

  21. @felix_five

    May 21, 2024 at 4:56 pm

Bose and Sony do this better at half the cost.

  22. @MCNPorter

    May 21, 2024 at 5:31 pm

Can 2 of these simultaneously pull audio from a single SONOS Arc… like 2 AirPods Max can with Apple TV? So the wife and I can watch a movie at different sound levels.

    • @ScarletPattieLayla

      May 21, 2024 at 8:23 pm

      Hey Porter

  23. @kestrel929

    May 21, 2024 at 6:19 pm

The ONLY differentiator (and that is quickly going away) is their use of Snap Dragon Lossless – but… how many people have a mobile device (much less a home audio device) that supports it? basically a way over priced BT headphone – one of hundreds on the market.

    • @ScarletPattieLayla

      May 21, 2024 at 6:27 pm

      Hey 👋

  25. @MatthewFling

    May 21, 2024 at 9:26 pm

These look really good but I think I’m going to stick with my AirPods Max until Apple comes out with a V2 which will probably be never.
