A new AT&T data breach has reset millions of customer account passcodes after a huge trove of customer records leaked online. After TechCrunch alerted the company to the cybersecurity issue, AT&T said it has launched an investigation.

According to AT&T, the data set so far appears to be from 2019 or earlier, impacting approximately 7.6 million current AT&T customers and approximately 65.4 million former customers and includes AT&T customer names, home addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and Social Security numbers.
