Best wishes doesn’t always work. Sometimes if the conversation goes back and forth, you don’t even need anything except your first name. For first time emails or formal responses to initial emails, i often use ‘Regards,’ as the sign off.

This is very culturally based. I just say ‘ hi
‘ then the email info then ‘kind regards, my name’. Ive never had an issue and everyone gets the same. Best wishes is far too personal.

Email sucks. Just call them and get it sorted and if there’s no time, wait till there is. Things always change and email is too back and forth and confusing and a massive time waster
