We gather here today to prepare to lay the Google Pay, app, also known as GPay, to rest ????

Born September 19, 2011, GPay helped many Android users purchase items using their phones and/or smartwatches. On June 4, 2024, it and Google’s peer-to-peer payment system will fly to the tech afterlife, to be succeeded by Google Wallet.

It’s a loss many will feel, but the GPay app will not be forgotten.
