Well, The city of Brighton, MI civil ordiance states… You are not to cover more than 30% of your visual window in your business with signage. Otherwise ticket. But this is not a sign, it’s better and far more advance than their civil ordiances. LOL! Good luck ticketing me know, I’m buying computer display windows for my adverrtisement. MY WINDOWS MY MONEY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO WHAT I WANT.

add this into ar/vr it can be liter than what apple came out with and me in future of 5 years from now this will be it all in one multi form factor ,…….like mobile phone into tablet into laptop but with all transparent form so 1 thing for all with pull or push and bang mobile into laptop ………and the ability of holograms into teck like a smart glasses so if want share and you only oe just et up on table it projects it into the air ………….that hole problem with first gen apple its not light its not shareable from person to person easy like windos person wanting to try it not going work easy ,not inter gration windows or android users or apple non freedom of making it your own so 100 apps on titled wall instead nice easy custom form ………………..so universal os apple ,windows ,linux android form fact would be my all one form of os best of each into freedom form

    February 25, 2024 at 6:55 pm

    February 25, 2024 at 9:57 pm

They should put in some kind of attachment so a physical keyboard could be used as an option.

  25. @solidust573

    February 25, 2024 at 10:14 pm

Imagine this technology in vehicle windshields

    • @RonaldNolasco555

      February 26, 2024 at 9:05 am

It would be incredible, hopefully it would still be usable even when the windshield inevitably is chipped or cracked

  26. @brandnaqua

    February 25, 2024 at 10:38 pm

this actually looks awesome. i’m sure the tech will come about where you can use it like a normal display that we have these days when you need the panel to be opaque and private as well as easily switchable to transparent. schools where testing is monitored will probably use something like this in the future. or if you say you are typing notes in class the teacher will tell you to make your panel transparent. :p

    AR ????!

  33. @amitthehuman

    February 26, 2024 at 1:39 am

If they had the tech to make it a touch screen this could be a good 2 in 1 design. But either way having a sheet of glass without metal borders as half of your laptop seems very fragile.

  34. @user-ed7dy1mq9u

    February 26, 2024 at 2:45 am

Lots of cool things aren’t practical at all. But people buy them because they’re cool. This is definitely cool.

  35. @bayuwras

    February 26, 2024 at 2:50 am

Next one is hologram phone appears from your smartwatch.

  36. @gcforreal

    February 26, 2024 at 2:56 am

    is it oled or microled?

  39. @guidofoc7057

    February 26, 2024 at 4:20 am

They just need to add the option of making the screen opaque and it would make it pretty interesting.

  40. @keepmovn8039

    February 26, 2024 at 6:32 am

I felt like, as we move forward, we create things that are lacking in feeling to the touch and sound.

  41. @FSK1138

    February 26, 2024 at 8:43 am

in a laptop this is pointless but i could see this in cars or sport or may be AR /MR /xr/ SC it would be better than apples googly eyes

  42. @drifter4training

    February 26, 2024 at 9:37 am

make it detachable.. it will look like the one tony used at stark tower in the avengers movie

  44. @michaelreynolds7091

  45. @user-vm9cf5ws1s

    February 26, 2024 at 1:56 pm

They just have aad display page between 2 transparent glass it’s normal just new human find it cool buy it i wont like it

  46. @scooterD3

    February 26, 2024 at 4:25 pm

Sorry, this is garbage. For a laptop screen, it looks like crap. No market there. For AR, headsets are far superior for this purpose, although this is more of a closer market for some valid use case.

This item is at best a reality of what people thought the future looks like. It’s an experimental fun gimmick, but this will never take off as a standard consumer device for one simple reason: there’s better tech already that has existed long before this has.

Sorry for the hate but let’s be real the use cases for this are extremely limited professionally and non-existent for consumers.

  47. @karmaduq

    February 26, 2024 at 5:56 pm

Might actually be useful with another LCD layer behind it that’s variably opaque. A display with alpha. The keyboard you can’t touch type on, not so useful.

  48. @neel9664

    February 26, 2024 at 6:08 pm

My future gaming latop would definitely look like this ????
