What a stupid, pointless video to post, but hey Bloomberg has been going down hill for the last few years so it’s on brand. Finally unsubscribed after this nonsense.

Rogan doubled back and got the same deal plus a non exclusive now. I think they’re realizing its better to just let content out than to try to restrict it to 1 platform

Jesus you are retarded. Spotify doesn’t GAF about what is “better” for content. They gave him what he wanted because that was their best play. If they didn’t agree he would have walked. Something is better than nothing.

He produces so much podcast, and out of 10 episodes there’s like 3-5 episodes that the awesome ones. I used always use the comments and views counts in YouTube to determine what to watch versus what to skip. It’s great that he’s coming back to YouTube.

That’s really narrow minded, I have enjoyed a ton of the podcasts that didn’t get as many views as other episodes. Why would you let other peoples views dictate what you watch? That’s like caring about likes on social media

I just cancelled my Spotify subscription because of this ludicrous contract and I encourage other angry subscribers to also cancel. It is insane that the JRE is getting such a contract while most Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and Spotify has the gall to charge subscibers more to pad all these pockets to such an extent. Don’t enable this type of idiocy in society… cancel Spotify to send a message.

they just raised prices, pay 0.003 cent per stream and pay a podcaster 250mil (+200 on the previous one) for no exlucivity lol? while they pay pennies to the artist that made it what it is, it is a music streaming platform first, not a podcast one
