   Do apps still look worse on Samsung devices? Sounds shallow but that’s why I’m on Apple currently.

     I agree my only phone I had for a couple of years was budget phones. And these budget phones are so much better and sometimes even better then some flagship phones 😂

   If i know Samsung from their history, it will still be an iterative upgrade at best where most of the new features will take a few years to mature and be fully featured.

    Samsung is playing it too safely unlike xiaomi, oppo, and vivo. These brands are way ahead, always the first to release the latest techs to the market

      You’re comparing Samsung to poorly built and unsupported Chinese-made phones. It’s not much of an advantage to have impressive stats on paper when the reality of these phones’ performance tells a different story. I’ve never heard of anyone without issues with these Chinese phones; you’ll find complaints all over the forums. People who fall for the advertising are simply chasing top specs that don’t actually make a difference in real-world use. Additionally, I’ve never heard of anyone keeping a Chinese-made phone for more than a year, and that year is often plagued by problems. No thanks. I’ll stick to Samsung or even Google. There’s a reason they’re the top phone makers, whether or not people want to acknowledge it.

      Person above me said it the best; don’t be a spec sheet groupie and follow bigger numbers because they look impressive without knowing the whole story. Phones like Oppo achieved some record breaking scores on GPU benchmark tests while also achieving some record breaking temperatures of 60+ C. Anything over 51 C starts degrading the battery btw. So playing games for an extended period of time will have the phone at extreme temperatures.

      ​​@@R.Sanchez137 hey it’s me, xiaomi users for I think almost decade since 2014. I’ve only changed my device 3 times. Redmi 1s 3 years, Redmi Note 4 1 year (sold bcs other reason), last Pocophone F1 for 5 Years. It’s still in perfect condition (of course battery degrade) even though no software update anymore. No brand is perfect even Samsung. You can go the forum and see many people tell their story about their problem. Like green line on their screen, buggy update (cant open camera, one ui home stop, etc). I’ve never heard Xiaomi software update ruined the screen. Bricked device is common in every phone brand. Now i am switching to Samsung because boring with MIUI and Xiaomi😂. Oppo and Vivo have great flagship devices and can compete with Samsung too. Chinese phone keeps getting better. Tbh I am pleased using Samsung but it feels nothing different except UI that I need to adapt again. Even One UI has flaws like it hasn’t adopt app lock like chinese phone UI has.

      ​@@R.Sanchez137I found it the other way around. Entry level Chinese phones are far better than mid range samsung. I never experienced any slow down as it ages with any of my Chinese phones but had it with all samsung I owned. And I only had samsung flagship phones

    People often focus on wattage when discussing charging, but there’s more to consider than just raw power. Some phone companies intentionally limit charging speeds to prioritize the reliability and longevity of the battery. Sacrificing safety and dependability for the sake of saving a few minutes of charging time seems counterproductive.

    The trend of phone companies advertising extended support for their devices may respond to consumer demand, but in reality, few individuals keep their phones for more than a couple of years. I doubt the longevity of these modern phones due to planned obsolescence and the rapid advancements in AI technology.
